Aimee hated how Tom was avoiding her. He wasn't talking to her. He didn't believe her when she said that she didn't want Max. She didn't. All she wanted was Tom.

Aimee knew how she was the talk of the staffroom. All the staff were gossiping about her. She hated it. She knew that everything was just getting more and more messy.

She knew that she wanted the chance to explain to Tom. But he wasn't even replying to her texts. He had blocked her number. And Aimee knew that she had messed up. And she hated herself for that.

When she woke that morning, she saw she was in Esmè's house. She had been staying there as Tom didn't want her at his house.

The door opened and Lexie toddled in. She smiled. "Mummy makes breakfast. Do you wants some?" She asked.

Aimee shook her head. "I'm not hungry munchkin. But tell mummy a nice cup of coffee would be lovely," she told her.

"Otay! Mummy, Aimee want coffee. I has one too," Lexie called as she climbed on the bed next to Aimee. "Why you not with mine daddy?"

Aimee smiled. "We had an argument. Aimee was silly."

Lexie giggled. "Did you has an accident?"

"In a way I did."

"Dats silly! I no has accident. I has to wear mine pull-ups," Lexie said.

Aimee went into work. She saw Tom and walked over to him. "Please. Just talk to me," she said.

"What's there to say? You and him. I should have known you'd go back to him. Everyone always goes to him. He's a snob and someone needs to take him down," Tom said.

Aimee sighed. "I don't disagree. But please. Don't hate me."

Tom looked to her. He shook his head. "I don't hate you. I just don't like you much. You've broken my heart. I thought we were happy together. I thought we were going to have a future together. You and me."

"We can still have that. Max Tyler doesn't have to ruin us. We can still have everything you want us to," Aimee said.

Tom shook his head. "Sorry. You made this mess. You kissed another man. So I don't want to hear it," he said.

Aimee was sitting in the staffroom. Max walked in. He had a smirk on his face. "So what do you say to us going for dinner tonight?" He asked.

"Are you delusional? I do not want you Max. I want Tom. And the kiss we had, it was a stupid ass mistake. One I'm not repeating so leave me alone," Aimee said. She knew she didn't want him.

Max shrugged. "If that was true, why are you not fighting for Tom right now?"

"I'm trying. But it doesn't help when you're always lurking around me. Just give me some space. Let me be happy with Tom. You don't make me happy. You barely made me happy. He does," Aimee said as she stood up and walked off.

Max sat there and watched her. He wanted her back. And he didn't know how to let her go.

Aimee saw Tom and walked over to him. She smiled. "I've told Max to leave me alone. I'm not giving up on you Tom," she said.

"Aimee save it."

Aimee watched as he got in his car and walked off. She wasn't going to give up trying to get him back. But would it all be for nothing?
