AUSTRALIA — 2023
THE TEAM WALKED THROUGHOUT THE DESERT, each of them glancing around at nothing but an lifeless biome.
Whilst walking, they all halted within their tracks after getting a glimpse of a defeated Deviant that was collapsed onto the ground.
"Is this the one from London?" Kingo asked.
"No," Ikaris responded, "there are more than we thought."
As the rest of the team just stared down at the dead Deviant, Karun pushed his way in front of everyone. He was still filming the documentary with his camera, admiring the dead creature.
"Is this a Deviant, sir?" He asked.
When the group began to walk once again, Kingo glanced over at Karun, nodding his head in response.
"It's a beautiful creature!" Karun complimented.
Kingo immediately glared at Karun dramatically, his eyes widened. He slowly shook his head from side-to-side in disagreement, beginning to lecture Karun.
"What?! No, it's hideous!" He exaggerated. "You've never had one trying to bite your head off!"
But before Kingo could even complain to Karun even more, everyone had found themselves standing right in front of a house, which was surrounded by completely nothing but an Australian desert.
After staring around for a few moments, Ikaris had finally decided to knock on the door, now awaiting for an appearance of another familiar face.
All of a sudden, the door swung wide open, the familiar face of Gilgamesh standing on the other side. He also seemed to be proudly wearing an apron that had the words 'kiss the chef' written down on it.
Relieved to see another familiar face, some of the team smiled, glad that they had almost gathered up the whole group of superheroes.
"What took you so long?"
