IRAQ — 2023

THE ALMOST UNITED TEAM WALKED THROUGHOUT THE DESERT, each of them wearing sunglasses in order to avoid the sand from blowing into their eyes.

Before being able to get into the familiar spaceship, Druig had to possess the minds of a group of archaeologists, who were close to discovering the Domo.

After forcing the humans away from the scene, Phastos pulled the Domo up from underneath the ground with his powers.

The team just admired the ship that they hadn't seen for years, heartwarming memories and flashbacks flooding into their minds.

But, they couldn't just stare at the piece of junk all day, could they? They all had things to do and places to be.

Cautiously everyone entered the Domo, taking their time to walk throughout the hallways.

Karun was holding onto his professional filming camera, pointing it at Kingo as he began to describe the whole situation.

"Dreadful atmosphere fills the air," he told, "an eery stillness chokes our lungs."

Phastos just shot a puzzled glare at Kingo, as if he thought that he was completely out of his mind.

"What are you even doing?" He questioned. "You know that you're creeping all of us out, right?"

All of a sudden, the sound of a bag exploding startled the team, only causing them to stop within their tracks and jump ever so slightly.

But, Phastos reacted completely different. He screamed, putting his hands in front of him like he was getting attacked by a horror movie monster.

After yelling out of fright, he quickly realised how embarrassing it was. He looked down at the ground, only to pick up the bag which exploded only moments ago. He laughed, glancing between his friends.

"Chips." He nervously chuckled. "It's just chips."

Making the whole situation even more awkward, the team just continued to walk forwards without a single murmur.

Kingo just continued talking to the camera, shooting a glance at Phastos before speaking once again.

"As you can see," he explained, "being an Eternal doesn't stop you from having human emotions, such as cowardice."

Sooner than later, the team found themselves standing in a messy room, which certainly wasn't another hallway. It didn't take them too long to spot Makkari on the other side of the room.

Makkari was sat on a fancy yet ancient throne, mountains of random books stacked around her. She was actually speeding through a book herself.

She had just finished reading her book just in time, glancing over at all of her old friends, who she hadn't seen for years on end. She closed her book shut, her lips curling into a smile.

"Is it finally time to go home?" She would sign.

Her friends just looked at her with a saddened expression upon their faces, not really sure what to tell her.

She already knew, just by seeing the look upon all of their faces. She steadily slumped into her throne, her features saddening with pure disappointment.
