ONCE THE GROUP WAS ABLE TO STOP THENA FROM LASHING OUT, they all had found themselves sat around the dining table since Gilgamesh had kindly prepared a meal for them all.

Sat right next to Sprite and Ikaris, Aziel rested his head within his hand, listening to everyone's random chatter. He hadn't been speaking as much as everyone else was, but that was most likely just because he had been forced to risk his own life only a day or two ago.

"Is this what you guys eat everyday?" Kingo complimented in delight. "This is amazing."

"Everyday."

"Thank you for this." Ikaris thanked Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh would brightly smile in response, giving Ikaris a slight nod as he spoke.

"Oh, you're welcome." He said.

Whilst chattering away and eating, Sprite had attempted to put Gilgamesh in baby clothing with her mischievous illusions. Like always, it worked, causing some of the team to burst out laughing.

All of a sudden, Sersi slowly stood up from her seat. She awkwardly glanced between everyone in the room before walking outside altogether.

"I need some air." She excused herself.

"You know, Thor used to follow me around." Kingo suddenly joked. "Now, he's a famous Avenger and is too busy to return my calls."

Most of the team actually seemed to be intrigued by talking about the Avengers, some of them had even stopped what they were doing to listen in.

"Well, now that Captain Rogers and Iron-Man are gone," Sprite brought up, "who do you think will lead the Avengers?"

As the team glanced around, attempting to think of responses, Ikaris just shrugged his shoulder, looking at them all.

"I could lead them." Ikaris spoke. "I figured I'd be good at that."

Aziel slightly leaned back, shooting a competitive glare in Ikaris' direction. He let out an almost silent huff, titling his head to the side.

"Or I could." He suggested.

"Ajak didn't even choose you two to lead us." Gilgamesh immediately brought up.

That comment made the whole team laugh away as Ikaris and Aziel just frowned.

"Ouch!"

Once the team had eventually calmed down from their sudden laughter, Kingo had decided to change the subject, seeing that nobody had anything else to say about the Avengers.

"So," he asked, "where are we off to next?"

As everyone's gaze fell upon Kingo, Ikaris was the first to answer that question, as himself, Sprite and Sersi seemed to be in charge of everything at the moment.

"We're going to the Amazon Forest tomorrow," he responded, "we located Druig there."

Hearing that response made Aziel feel nervous and excited at the same exact time. He wanted to see Druig so badly, but then again, he really didn't. He glared over at Ikaris, pressing his lips into a thin line.

"Who?"

Seeing Aziel's expression made the whole team feel concerned. Ikaris raised an eyebrow upwards, his gaze falling upon Aziel.

"Druig?" He repeated himself with slight confusion.

Aziel almost choked on the drink that he had just sipped on. Clearing his throat, he briskly placed a hand in front of his face out of pure nervousness.

He slightly shook his head from side-to-side, briskly standing up from where he sat. As he began to exit the room altogether, he let out a murmur.

"Give-" He stuttered. "Give me a moment."

As he wandered out of the room, the group just assumed that he was furious or upset after hearing Ikaris' reply.

Thena glanced between them all, slowly cocking an eyebrow upwards. She felt as puzzled as everyone else did, her lips separating as she spoke.

"I thought they liked each other." She commented.

"Not anymore, it seems."
