When Cansas woke up the next morning, she felt as if she'd been hit by a truck. She didn't get many hours of sleep last night thanks to my dream. A dream that still replayed through her mind.
Cansas knew the dream was bothering her so much because she couldn't remember any of it happening. She remembered running out of Bobby's house, needing to flee her situation--needing to flee herself but after that nothing. It was like that blurriness that had surrounded that winged thing had spread to the rest of that day.
Cansas only rose off her lumpy bed to grab her sketchbook to start drawing furiously. She just needed to get that figure down on paper and out of her mind.
An hour dragged on, her eyes stinging with sleep she was denied when a fluttery knock sounded on her door. Cansas gave a low curse as she hopped out of bed. She'd all but forgotten the Winchesters, being so caught up in her own mind.
She threw the door open, finding Sam standing there. His green eyes, which seemed to be a shade darker today, scanned over her body. Color flushed on his cheeks and Cansas realized why as soon as the cold air of the hallway brushed against her skin.
Her normal PJ get-up consisted of a baggy t-shirt and a pair of underwear.
Cansas' face heated the slightest bit, but she wasn't all that embarrassed. Sam had seen more, so it didn't matter...right?
"Uh--hey." Sam seemed to mentally slap himself back to look her in the eyes.
"Hey--can I borrow your computer?" Cansas was just a little confused by this. Sam's computer was ten times better than her own one-foot-in-the-grave computer.
"Sure...come in," Cansas said, moving out of the way of the entrance. Sam gave her a quick thanks before making his way in. As soon as she shut the door, she was grabbing the pair of jeans she wore yesterday off the floor, and tugging them on.
Sam turned to look back at her just in time to find her buttoning them up. Cansas gave him a sheepish smile, not knowing what else to do. "It's on my nightstand."
"Same password?" Sam asked, putting all his attention on anything other than her.
"Yep," Cansas said, climbing back into bed and, in the process, kneeling on her sketchbook, bending the pages a bit. Not that it mattered. This thing has been through so much wear and tear over the past few months she'd had it.
Sam took his boots off before climbing in after Cansas. Because this bed was hardly big enough for herself, they couldn't help but touch. It also didn't help that Sam was a giant of a man.
"What happened to your computer?" She asked, watching Sam open and log into her computer. As soon as the question left her lips, Sam's eyes grew angered.
"Dean was on it." Cansas sat there for a moment, not understanding.
"Does he have some kind of virus that I don't know about?" She teased, making Sam look back at her, something like disgust on his face at the thought of the computer.
"He gave my computer a virus. It's frozen now." Dean wasn't the best with computers, so it wasn't a surprise really that he'd given Sam's computer a virus. But there was something Cansas was still missing... "Trust me Cansas, you don't want to know how." And it hit her...he'd given Sam's computer a virus by going on an...adult website.
"Oh," She said, processing this information. "Oh--god." Cansas slapped a hand over her lips before she could laugh out loud.
"It's not funny." Sam huffed, turning his attention back to her computer screen.
"It's just a little funny." Sam shook his head, not one bit amused. "Sorry, sorry. Not funny." Sam shot Cansas an annoyed look that had her giggling against her will. "I'm sorry!"
