Before Cansas could leave this hell hole of a motel, she had to take care of William's rotting body. She did this by driving his body, all his things, and his car out to the middle of nowhere and lighting it all on fire. Loki, of course, was no help. He just watched and ate random pieces of candy as she worked.

"It looks like you've done this before." He said as she threw her lighter into the car. It burst into flames, sending a wave of heat their way, thawing out Cansas' chilled skin.

"I'm a hunter, jackass." Was all Cansas said before starting the long journey back to the motel. She got maybe three steps away before her world blurred and swirled around her. Cansas was suddenly back in the motel room, her legs buckling beneath her and her knees hitting the floor.

What the hell--her stomach rolled nauseatingly. She was going to puke---god, everything was spinning.

A pair of hands grabbed under her armpits, pulling Cansas to her feet. "What--the hell?" She gritted out, shoving Loki away. He didn't seem bothered by the sudden teleportation, but again, he was the one who had done the teleporting.

"A fun little perk of being a god. You never have to walk anywhere." He said snapping his fingers. Cansas waited to be transported again, but it never came. She found her bag gone. "You ready? I don't have all the time in the world--Well, I do, being immortal in all, but I have much more pressing matters to attend to so..."

"You're irritating." Cansas huffed, pushing past Loki and walking out of the room.

"I prefer charming...handsome, charismatic, bewitching--" Cansas growled in frustration.

What the hell was she doing? What was she doing allowing this jackass--murderer to walk free? But Cansas knew couldn't get this collar off on her own. She needed this annoying ass demi-god's help. Because she was close--so close to finding the answers she needed. So close to being free.

"Wildly attractive." Cansas hopped into her truck and slammed the door shut, savoring this tiny moment of silence. "I'm starving," Loki said as he hopped into the passenger seat.

"We just ate," Cansas grumbled starting her car.

"Alright, then we should at least stop for a snack. Ice cream? Sounds good to me." Loki said, leaning back in his seat. Cansas stared at him in disbelief. This was really happening, wasn't it? Loki smirked when he found her staring. "Like what you see? We could--"

"You're only alive because it would be easier to use you than to finish my search alone. The moment you tick me off, you're dead." Cansas hissed.

"I'm alive because you hesitated."

"I don't hesitate."

"Sure ya don't." A phone ringing split through the air, pulling Cansas' attention away from the frustrating god. It was Bobby. "Are you going to get that?" She shot him a look to shut up before she answered.

"How did it go?" Bobby said as a way of greeting. Cansas looked to Loki who gave a cheeky smile.

"Fine. It was definitely a trickster." She tried not to sound so annoyed, but it ended up coming out that way. Cansas turned the heat up as high as it went as soon as she could.

"And is he dead?"

"Yes. I killed it." Cansas said a bit too fast. She mentally scolded herself for her tiny slip-up.

"You're lying. What happened?"

"Bobby I have to go. The--cops just pulled up. I don't want to get framed for murder."
