"Let's go get Loki back." I smirked and Thor nodded.
I ran up to my room and pulled on my suit and sheathed my katana before ordering the team to get onto the Quinjet.
After about an hour, the Quinjet landed and we all filed out.
I walked off the jet and into the humid air, unsheathing my katana as I kicked the doors to the base open. I was greeted by multiple guns going off. I deflected each bullet with my katana and swiftly slid the blade across each of the agents necks.
Rage and anger filled my eyes and mind as I made my way down the various hallways, disembodying anyone in my line of vision. The team stayed clear out of my way and let me do my thing.
I turned the last hallway and killed the last of the agents before kicking down the large metal doors of the lab. I found Loki on his knees with chains attached to his wrists and a gag in his mouth. He had various deep cuts and gashes all over his body. There were bruises across his entire body and some clearly broken bones. He was heavily sedated and could hardly keep his eyes open. Whatever they gave him was keeping him from using his magic and healing himself, but it wasn't strong enough to completely shut down his healing capabilities.
I resheathed my katana and ran over to him. I quickly broke off the chains and removed the gag from his mouth. He looked up to me with sad and hurt eyes. I gave him a pained smile and helped him up.
"Y/n?" Loki asked.
"Yeah, it's me Lo." I draped his arm over my shoulders and put mine around his torso, being careful of his injuries.
His head fell to my shoulder as we walked out of the lab and back through the now blood stained hallways of the Hydra facility. We weaved our way between the dead agents and walked out of the broken down metal doors of the base.
Thor met me at the doors and took Loki from me, scooping him up into his arms bridal style and rushing him onto the Quinjet. I ran onto the jet directly behind him.
Thor sat him down on the floor of the jet and propped him up against the wall. I carefully cleaned his cuts and Bruce stitched him up before wrapping bandages around them.
Loki began to close his eyes and I gently shook him awake.
"Hey, stay awake for me." I smiled lightly and stroked his cheek with my gloved thumb.
He showed a small smile and his eyes opened halfway.
I patched up the last cuts on his face as the jet landed back on the roof of the tower.
Thor helped me carry Loki into the med bay for Bruce to do x-rays.
Bruce did his thing and came back with a clipboard.
"He has a multiple fractures, a dislocated shoulder, and his leg is broken in three places." Bruce informed. "We're going to have to set his shoulder back in place. The sedatives they gave him should dull the pain a little more along with what pain endurance he has at the moment."
I nodded and took Loki's hand. "I'm sorry, Lo." I placed my other hand on his shoulder and pressed down quickly.
He winced, letting out a grunt as his bone popped back into place. My heart broke seeing him in pain.
Bruce put Loki's leg in a cast, just until the sedatives ware off and he can heal himself.
Eventually, Bruce left the med bay and Loki was allowed to sleep. I stayed in a chair by the side of the bed and held his hand as he slept.
...
"Y/n?" Loki called.
"Hey, Lokes." I responded and smiled at him.
"I'm hungry."
I laughed and got up to go get him food.
I came back a few minutes later with several items of food and placed them on a tray in front of Loki.
We ate together before I removed the tray from the bed. Loki pat the spot next to him.
"Loki, you're injured pretty badly. I don't think it's a good idea for me to lay with you." I spoke.
"I'll be fine, Darling. My magic is back and I'll be healed soon." Loki assured.
"Switch to your Jotun form and you'll heal faster." I ordered.
Loki did as he was told and diminished his Asgardian illusion. He lifted up his arms and gestured for me to cuddle with him. I crossed my arms and looked at him sternly. He gave a pouting expression and looked up at me with sad eyes.
I shook my head and gave in. I crawled onto the bed next to him. I wrapped my arms around his, almost healed torso and laid my head on his good shoulder. He put his arm around my shoulders and his hand on the back of my head as he placed a kiss on my forehead.
"I thought I lost you." I spoke, tears filling my eyes.
"You're not getting rid of me that easily." Loki responded.
I laughed slightly as a few tears slid down my face. Loki placed a finger under my chin and lifted my head up to look at him. He wiped my tears away with his thumb before placing a soft and passionate kiss on my lips.
I melted at his touch and moved my hand up to rest on his chest. He pulled away and I smiled at him.
"I love you." Loki smirked.
"I love you too."
