15 | Latex Creatures in the Forbidden Room

(I am happy to write this and to be here, thank you to all you who have stuck with me, this is dedicated to you, also this will be a long chapter, maybe the longest yet, wanted to make it worth the wait.)

I awake.
I look around, its dim like a fresh morning, it's been a couple of days since I met Puro, I have hung around him for now, he is nice. I could get used to this. I look around, it's still pretty dark. Everyone else is asleep. Puro is laying next to me and Danny is sleeping on the makeshift bed that we constructed a day or two ago. I think about life, and my future, I Danny, what will happen to me, I guess only time will tell... I fall asleep again, for at least a couple of hours.

I awake once more, for real this time, no more sleeping for today. It is light, I don't know why I awoke before.

"Hello, Human Danny and Adrian. You humans, need so much sleep." Puro says with a funny expression on his face.

"You know you could just refer to us as Danny and Adrian, no need for the human business! We have known each other for a bit and are more familiar." 

To be honest it's a little cute seeing his little face shamefully blush as I correct him.

"Just kidding, Just kidding, Latex creature Puro," I say with a grin.

Puro frowns at me obviously unamused.

"Puro, what time is it? I am getting hungry, do you have any extra food for us or will I have to wait." I say to him.

"Puro is full off of white latex, you humans will have to wait, I am sorry humans! Also, it is morning, or I think that's what you humans call it."

I nod and return to thinking to myself. These past couple of days have been pretty boring, all I did was get to know Puro and Adrian more, we talked, a lot of talking considering there is not much entertainment around here, I also picked up a few books and started reading, mostly boring books. But hey, beggars can't be choosers. I started to think about escape, escape from this laboratory, I can't live like this forever, I must return to civilization if I continue living like this it's only a matter of time before I get injured or get ill, or worse. I thought back, back to when I first met Puro, and even before then, and then I remembered IT. The door. It was the door with the 8 digit code, I didn't know what it was at the time so I just brushed it off, what if it leads to something important, something that can get me saved. Possible combinations THINK! But it was of no use, I didn't know what it could possibly be, then I got the bright but simple idea, what if Puro knows?...

"Hey Puro, by any chance do you know the code to the door with the moon poster, next to the tree, it's an 8 digit code," I said to Puro hopingly.

"Oh, the locked door? Of course, I know what the password is, it's simple, surprised human did not figure it out! Well, the password is 11100033." Puro said to me.

Wow, that was easy, I did not expect Puro to know what the password was.

"Come on Adrian, let's go explore more, who knows what we will find," I said to Adrian.

"Will it be dangerous, because if so then I will be happy here with Puro!" Adrian said to me, and also to Puro.

"Well, I haven't been there in a while, I hope it's not dangerous, I don't remember it being dangerous," Puro said to me and Adrian ominously. 

I gulp. "Well, I guess there's only one way to find out... To the room, we go."

A bit later-

Me and Adrian arrive at the door. We sigh, hoping this won't be our last moment together.

"Alright, from what I remember it's 1110033." I enter the code, I hear a beep and the door slowly and grudgingly opens.

We walk in.

The room is very bright, with lots of lights, there is white latex all over the place, hanging on the ceiling, on the walls, and of course the floor, luckily it's not actively trying to chase us.
