"Huh?! N-no! We're... we're not dating." I hide the bottom half of my face in Toshi's jacket. 'How could he think that I'm dating All Might? I mean come on- he's the #1 hero and I'm... me.'

💚 "I- I'm sorry! You two just seemed so close!"

"I-it's fine. I'm-... Mizuki Kori, by the way." I mumble as I shakily hold out my hand. The boy gently grabs my hand and shakes it.

💚 "It's n-nice to meet you Mizuki! My name is Izuku Midoriya! But you can call me Deku."

"Deku? Doesn't that mean-?"

💚 "One who can't achieve or do anything. Yeah." I stare at him with a shocked and confused expression. "My friend started calling me that when we were kids."

"Your friend? That doesn't seem like something a friend would do." His big green eyes start to look dejected. I begin to frantically wave my hands around. "N-not that I would know. I don't have very many friends myself so- yeah, I think I'm gonna go now." I smile apologetically then turn around and quickly make my way from the shore.

💚 "I'll be your friend!" I stop walking and turn around; Izuku has a nervous yet calming smile. "I- I mean... we can be friends, if you want."

"You're just a cute little cinnamon roll, aren't you?" I giggle as he blushes furiously. "Sure Izuku, we can be friends. But I'm not calling you Deku."

💚 "O-okay! Are you... are you sure though?"

"Yeah. I mean, why not? You seem pretty harmless to be around."

💚 "Well um- thank you..?" He nervously rubs the back of his neck.

This kid seems super sweet. I'm not sure why, but he brings me comfort. Maybe it's his aura; it's similar to All Might's. He's very powerful too, but it's as if all that power is locked away.

I lightly smile then glance up at All Might, who has surprisingly been quiet the entire time. But his eyes are already on me, making me nervous. "I- I really should get going now."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm- uh... going to meet a friend. I promised I'd meet with him to hang out tonight." My heart beats loudly in my ears as I avoid eye contact with the two. I honestly have no idea why I'm lying, but I just can't bring myself to tell the truth.

"Him?" All Might's voice drops a couple octaves.

"Y-yeah."

💚 "We can come with you! It's late and not safe for anyone to be alone."

"T-that's sweet but-"

"I think young Midoriya is right. It's not safe for you Mizuki."

"I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself, All Might. I can use my quirk to protect myself, if necessary." I mumble while cuddling up in Toshi's oversized jacket. My eyes quickly meet All Might's and I notice his cheeks are a darker shade of pink. 'Is he blushing?'
