I was lost. No one could hear me. I will spend my rest few minutes in the cold snow, and then die without even living my best highschool years. What a life.
***
Hi! I'm Alyssa, but everyone calls me Alice. I'm 15 going to 16, and currently living my highschool years in a boring way.
But not today, because my school settled a trip in the mountains. I love mountains. All you can see is snow and breath the fresh air, without thinking that it's poluated. I love it.
Oh, I didn't mention the fact that right now I am running to catch the school bus, right?
I'm always late to events. I'm such a dumbass. Glad the driver didn't go without me.
Once I went inside, I sat next to someone random. I guess I didn't mention that my only best friend didn't come because she was sick neither, right?
Atleast the girl I was sitting next to wasn't that bad. She was just listening to music while readin a book. The silent type. Perfect!
All the way there, I looked out the window. I thought about the world where we live and the few people that can transform their bodies into animal's. It must be like a dream.
If I could do that, I would transform myself into an owl. A snow owl. I just find them really cute, mysterious and interesting at the same time.
While looking out the window, I dreamed myself flying next to the bus. I opened my wings, flying free and focused on the road.
I made some rotations but I didn't pay much attention though and hit a pole. Even in my dreams I'm clumsy.
I continued my fly, looking left and right, to be sure most of the way was safe. And then I continued to fly. Just me, my white and black stripped wings with the bus. Silence was letting me enjoy the fresh air and relax. Sometimes I enjoy being alone, just me with myself.
The bus arrived. I erased my adventure as a snow owl from my eyes and came back to real life. It already sucks.
I left the bus. The teacher who was trying to be our guide, told us to remain together and if possible hold hands with friends or someone so we don't get lost. It is almost a snowstorm on this mountain, so if someone would get lost, it would be so hard to find them. These words left a mark in my mind.
I didn't have anyone to hold hands with, so I stayed behind some tall boy and followed him. The taller he is, the easier it is to see him, right? I could hear his footsteps better than the snowstorm's sounds, so I closed my eyes and started to base on my ears.
We walked and walked, until I felt like my feet couldn't keep it anymore. I stopped for five seconds to breath. I was exhausted.
I couldn't even hear anything. I had my eyes closed and followed the boy's footstep's sound for so long but right now I don't hear anything. I start to freak out a bit.
"What if I get lost? Nono, I can't. He was leading me a few seconds ago, this can't be the case.". I was glad to feel his body when I bumped into him. He stopped, so probably the guide was telling us something or whatever. I was glad I didn't get lost.
I was standing, waiting to hear some footsteps from about half of an hour. I decided to finally open my eyes, even if it meant to fight the snowstorm so I can actually see something.
Once I opened them I realised that the boy who I was waiting for was actually a snowman. That's what I bumped into a half an hour ago.
I was freaking out. I started screaming for help disperately, running around with the hope to see even the smallest sign of a living person.
