Surprisingly, Jake stopped killing Trevor by stare. Instead, he stayed with his arm around my shoulder, dragging me a few steps away from him. Trevor didn't let himself down though.

"Are you going to come tomorrow?"

I didn't really understand his question since I wasn't paying so much attention to him.

"You mean to college, right?" After I said that I realised how stupid my question was.

"Of course, where else dummy?" He chuckled. But eventually, his smile turned into a smirk pretty quickly.

"But a friend of mine is hosting a party in two days, wanna come?"

"Yeah sure". These words didn't leave my mouth, but Jake's.

"I was talking to Alice, not you."

"Can't I come?"

The tension between them was suffocating. I was about to say something but Trevor gave up on their death stare contest and started talking first.

"You can come if my friend is ok with that. Anyways, Alice do you want to come?"

Jake's shoulders relaxed. Now I could finally answer him.

"Of course! But I have a question. Who is your friend that will host the party?"

I didn't feel safe going to a party without knowing who's the host. Don't get me wrong, I'm not someone who just stays inside, but I'm not a party lover neither. I just like to go to a party, have a drink and have some fun too.

"You will meet him there. But don't worry, he's not a bad person. I know him from when I was 5."

Guess my worries were for nothing.

"I'm going to leave the cookies here, see ya tomorrow Alice!"

"Bye bye!"

And here he goes. I finally got the chance to turn around back to Jake.

"Don't ever be so impolite again"

"Me? Impolite? You've got the wrong person missy"

"Mhm. Then who was the person that gave some death stares non stop?"

He looked surprised.

"Turn around."

I did as he said. He started searching my hair.
"I don't see any eyes here, how did you know?"

The next day I wasn't late. Such a surprise, right? But even though I wasn't I was speeding to reach the class. Yesterday I didn't notice that I forgot a bracelet on my desk. I'm such a dumbass.

I wasn't really looking where I was running, so of course I couldn't enter the class without bumping into someone. Perfect timing.

I had to look up to see that person's face. Damn, he was tall. The guy I bumped into was a brown haired one with glasses. He didn't look nerdy, but the opposite. God he really was good looking.

"Are you okay?" His voice was deep.

"Yes, sorry. I need to get something from my desk quickly."

"Wait" His green eyes were focused on me. "I'm hosting a party tomorrow, want to come?"

"Sorry, I already have planned to go to a party tomorrow." I didn't want to let him down, but I couldn't tell Trevor that I won't come to his friend's party because I was invited to another one hosted by a hottie.

"Really? Who's hosting the party?"

"I don't know that person's name, but his friend's name is Trevor." He raised his eyebrow.

"You mean Trevor that's from our class?"

"Yes."

He smirked as if he succeded cheating on a test and got a full score.

"Well, looks like you just bumped into the host. The name's Andrew." I let a soft smile escape my lips.

"Alyssa, but call me Alice".

I finally got the chance to go to my desk. I needed that bracelet. It isn't something expensive or anything, but it's the bracelet I have with Maya. God knows what's waiting for her when she will come back to classes. Maybe she is my best friend, but I won't let her off the hook for letting me alone with a bunch of guys around me.

As I kept searching, the more panicked I got. The bracelet was nowhere to be found.

"Are you searching for this?" Andrew said from behind me.

"I'll give it to you if you give me a hug."

I guess desperate situations need desperate solutions. So I didn't say anything and went to hug him. Feeling his hard body I felt weirdly safe... I knew that feeling though. I have it when I'm around Jake too. What does it mean?

We stayed like this, hugging eachother for a few whole minutes, until I finally let go.

"Here is your reward" Even though his tone was trying to seem funny and cool, I could see his cheeks were red. Maybe he had a fever?

I got my bracelet and I sit down as the teacher stepped in. Andrew was sitting next to me from the start of college. How come I didn't notice him until then?

Only a few seconds passed from when I got my bracelet back, but I noticed something strange out the window. There was this white bird flying crazy outside... it was a snow owl. Wait... Jake?!

He was moving back and forth like a drunk man with wings. After a few minuted he hit the window. That must have hurt.

Everyone started to laugh, even the teacher noticed the 'strange snow owl' that hit the window. But when he hit the window and everyone turned around, Andrew was the last one to look. He was looking intensely at me, but he turned to Jake, seeing me notice him.

What was he thinking at?

After that I looked at Trevor. He was giving such a death stare at Andrew that you would think he was about to murder him. Even when Jake hit the window, his eyes were fixated on him. Why is he so mad? Trevor is usually the one to keep his calm. Jake is the opposite, so why steal his position.

Anyways, these boys are acting so strange these days. Giving eachother's death stares and not paying attention to anything but me. What's wrong with them?
