Everleigh's POVI and Ashley were hanging out together before class began. We were both worried as we had History today and Mr Guildford always insists on us doing a test before and on the first day back from a holiday as he believes we should spend our holiday revising, horrible right? None of our other teachers is like that, they let us have fun and barely do any work on the first day. "Remember a new boy is coming to our school." wow another person to ignore. "Unlucky for him," I said chuckling. "What if he's cute?" I hope not how am I gonna resist if he is? I'm just gonna have to stay away from him. "Why do you think I would care?" she then shooked her head. "I meant for me," she said confidently making me chuckle at her answer.
I then heard a text and watched as Ashley took her phone out of her pocket and look at it. "Oh my mum needs help in her room," she said running off, her mum being the headteacher of the school she gets away with a lot if she helps her out. As I was alone, I decided just to walk to my class. I looked in the distance and saw someone coming into the school, I just ignored it, I thought someone was late or something like that and I continued walking to class. "Hey, wait up!" I heard someone scream from behind me, I looked back and saw a boy only a bit away from me. "Umm, hello? I'm new here, can you help?" oh he's the new guy, he can get someone else to help him through. "Go and get another person!" I said assertively trying to get him away from me. "You were the only person I saw. I'm Jake by the way." oh why did I have to look over, he probably wouldn't have noticed me if I wouldn't have. "I have English with Mr Cameron right now? Can you just point me in the right direction?" of course, he has to have the same class as me. I then sighed. "Fine come on!" I said while walking to the class that was only a few classes down now. "See that wasn't too hard," he said in a very arrogant way. We went into the class and I sat down in my normal seat.
After class I went outside to meet Ashley, "You alright?" she asked worried as I walked over with no energy and slumped down in my seat next to her. "The new boy," I said putting my head on the desk. "What about him?" she said patting my head comfortingly, "I hate him," I said lifting my head back up. "That quick?" she asked shocked and I just nodded. "He's so annoying. Like really."
After that, I knew we weren't gonna get along at all.
