Chapter 12 - Goodbye Gift Of a Kiss

They stood there as the razor freezing winds sliced into their hands. Luffys face was red as he continually wept tears of sadness into Law's dark cloak. The moment seemingly lasted an eternity as they stood in the freezing wind. After a few minutes, Luffy started to gradually calm down.

"Straw hat, you okay now?" Law asked, pulling his hands away from the hug. He back away from Luffy, leaving him without the other's warmth.

"I think so." He sniffled, he couldn't bear to look Law in the eyes so the floor was the only other option. Law placed his hand under Luffy's chin forcing him to stop staring at the ground.

"It will be alright, trust me, just forget the past week ever happened." Law gave him a soft smile trying to brighten his spirits. He glanced up at Law with his wondrous eyes, he knew there was no way he could ever forget so easily.

"So stop your crying, you hear?" He muttered, he leaned down and pecked Luffy softly on the younger one's lips. It was short, as he went to pull away Luffy stopped him and smashed their lips together in a rougher kiss.

Luffy had no experience with this sorta stuff so he had little idea of what he was doing. All he knew is he liked the feeling of their lips touching one another. Luffy's eyes widened as he felt the wetness of Law's tongue swipe against his bottom lip. He was sure what Law wanted him to do.

A few seconds after he felt the coldness of Law's hand wiggling its way up to his back, making him gasp and break the kiss. However, he was pulled right back in, and that gave Law the perfect opportunity to slip his tongue past Luffy's lips.

Law's tongue explored around Luffy's mouth and his hand still squirmed around on his back, and after a few seconds passed Law pulled away allowing them both to breathe. While Luffy was still perplexed by what just happened Law took his hand away from under Luffy's coat.

He wasn't understanding why Law did that, yet in its own weird way, it felt somewhat pleasing. Luffy glanced up at the taller one as he started to feel the craving to kiss him more.

"Can we do that again?" Luffy asked, he wanted to enjoy every moment he had left with Law since they wouldn't be seeing each other for a long while.

"That was a one-time thing, I just got caught up in the moment," Law truthfully admitted, he glanced down at Luffy who had the look of dissatisfaction written all over his face.

"Damn it, one last time do I make myself clear?" Luffy's down expression quickly turned into a more positive and happy one. He shook his head in agreement. Law reconnected their lips, he figured that this would be a good send-off gift.

Their tongues twirled around each other as the kiss became more passionate and lust full. Law's hand unconsciously started making its way to Luffy's back. Once he realized what he was doing he stopped his hand and broke the kiss.

"I think that enough," Law muttered, he didn't want to take it too far with Luffy, and it was starting to get to the point where he had little self-control left.

Law slowly backed away, he could see the hunger for more drifting in Luffy's eyes. Law closed his eyes and let out a sigh, he had to walk away before he did something he would live to regret.

"Wait Traffy." Luffy desperately called out for him to come back, but he ignored his cries and walked back into the ship where the banquet was, leaving Luffy all alone.

"There you are Law, we were all wondering where you ran off to." Bepo turned the room's attention to him as he walked through the door.

"Yeah I'm going to bed, we're setting sail in the morning so be prepared," Law informed the rest of the crew, they placed their hands to their heads, soluting Law.

"Yes, captain." The heart pirates all said in unison. Law glanced back at the door one last time, he figured that Luffy would have followed him inside but saw no sign of him.
