Chapter 7: Something Unexpected

While the group waits for Peril Tsunami told Clay to stop making her mad, "Me? How am I making her mad?" he asks. "Well, you're a handsome idiot, also it's obvious that she has a crush on you," Darksea tells him, "Really?" "She also doesn't want to hear you talking about leaving or rescuing other girls" Tsunami adds. Soon they heard a thud from outside and the door opens and popped out Peril's head asking if they were ready to leave. Clay notice Queen Scarlet flying towards them, "Peril watch out! It's the queen!" Clay shouts and takes a hold of her and moved Peril out of the opening of the door. "If she sees you with us, she'll kill you! You need to hide!" after a few seconds of the contact Clay didn't burn and only a soft sizzling sound was made. "How-why aren't you burning up?" Peril asks, surprised how a dragon isn't burning from her scales, " So you finally figured it out....", a voice said, and the dragonets looked at the door to see Queen Scarlet, "Mudwings who're hatched from blood-red eggs are born with fireproof scales. Didn't the Talons ever teach you any useful things?" Clay looks at Tsunami as they both remembered something while in the cave when Kestral would burn him.

"Thank you, Peril, you may now leave," Scarlet said as Peril looked at the group with a sad expression and left. "Thank you? Peril you turned us in!" Darksea said snapping at her as she left the room, "Well then guards lock them up!" with that order the guards brought them to a cell inside a tower, as the group started talking about how Peril turned them in Darksea laid down and soon started to drown out the talking and fell asleep. 

In the dream, Darksea sees a dark blue outline of a dragon fighting another dragon with a pea-green color, the blue one soon pinned the other and from what it looked like the blue dragon outline snapped the other's neck. The scene then changed after that to a larger blue outline with another smaller and pale blue outline, the bigger one lowered their head and looked like they were grieving about something. Darksea took a guess that it could be about the scene that happened before.  Soon everything turned black and Darksea woke up with a gasp, 'what was that about?  Looks like something bad happened, maybe I could try preventing that event from happening...', Darksea thought as he looked over to the entrance of the cell to see guards walking in to grab them. Clay, Darksea, and Starflight were chained down to the ground in the arena, Darksea looked up at the platform Scarlet was on standing next to her was the Sandwing from the night before. "Fellow dragons! Loyal Skywings, visiting Mudwings, and honored Sandwing quests! We have a full slate of battles today!" a Skywing yelled out from the top of the platform.

"But first, let us welcome our honored guest, Queen Burn!" Scarlet announces to the audience, Burn looked over to see Glory on the tree and said something to Scarlet, and Scarlet said something back at her looking slightly mad. "First of today's games, we have another so-called Dragonet of Destiny. Will she be able to fulfill the prophecy? Let's first see if she can survive the arena today!" the Skywing yelled out.

Then out came two guards as they dragged Tsunami into the arena with her thrashing and trying to get out of their grip. "I give you TSUNAMI OF THE SEAWINGS!" Tsunami takes off the collar around her once the guards left and on the other side where another opening was at, an adult pea-green colored Seawing walked out looking insane, skinny, and dry like he was out of water for who knows how long. "As for her opponent, some you may remember a Seawing a few months back that refused to fight, so what's the best punishment for a Seawing? Take away their water, all of their water for months!" the Skywing said as he introduces the Seawing. Darksea had a shocked look when he heard the punishment, 'No water for months? That's absurd!'.

"Now dehydrated, mentally unstable, and ready to fight at last. I bring you Gill of the Seawings! Now claws up, tails ready...FIGHT!" with that Gill jumped onto Tsunami and she dodges the attack, "Gill's fast..." Starflight said, "But Tsunami is also fast...." Darksea told him as the two continued to fight. Darksea felt an uneasiness as he watches wanting to stop the fight before it was too late. A few minutes later Tsunami manages to pin GIll down and held onto his horns, "I've won now, you can all see that. I ask you all the let me let him live!" Tsunami said to Scarlet.
