Chapter 1: Something Strange

(6 Years Later)

Darksea got out of the training cave after his training with Kestrel. He came out with a proud look on his face, while he left Clay the Mudwing walked past him looking nervous.

"Hey Clay you'll be alright in there while training, be careful ok?" Darksea said to him while brushing one of his wing tips with Clay's.

Clay nodded and walked in, and Darksea continued to walk away. But not even 5 minutes past and he heard Kestrel yelling at Clay, Darksea just sighed and started walking towards the hunting cave to eat something after his training session.

Once he was there he was greeted by Glory of the Rainwings, Sunny of the Sandwings, and Starflight of the Nightwings. He greeted back to them and walked to a cow carcass and started to eat it.

After awhile Darksea finished the carcass leaving only some bones behind when Tsunami and Clay walked in. By then Starflight suggested to do more studying, only for Tsunami saying that she'll be choosing what they'll be studying. And Glory just rolled her eyes and said "No. Not the Three Sandwing Queens again, don't make us act that again" emphasizing on the last again.

But Tsunami said they'll do the act again eventhough Glory said no to that. Sunny piped up about asking why the three Sandwing princesses couldn't just talk about this instead of causing a war.

"Shh! Quiet guys! Pay attention, I'm assigning parts for the act" Tsunami said and started telling the roles for the others. "Of course I'd be the the Sandwing queen, but Sunny is an actual Sandwing so she'll be the queen" she said to Sunny, "Clay you'll be the scavanger, and this can be your claw" Tsunami then hands Clay a tip of a stalagtite.

"And the the rest will the princesses" Tsunami then said afterwards, while Darksea just sat and a flat rock watching the scene infront of him. Not interested on joining the act the other dragonets are doing.

Tsunami said that she'll be Burn or the strong one. The she said the Glory will be Blister, the smart one. And lastly Tsunami said that Starflight is Blaze, the pretty one, but Starflight objected about being her last time they did this act.

But he was ignored and they started the play of theirs. Darksea watched when he felt a pain in his head, so he place a talon on it when a image flashed into his mind.

He saw a group of Skywings flying through the boulder entrance, and one of them having gems embedded in her scales above her eyes and on her wings. He saw Dune walking up to her saying something but couldn't hear what he's saying.

The Skywing grabbed his neck and snapped it, dropping Dune's lifeless body onto the floor. After that the image was gone and Darksea blinked a few times seeing that the others finished the play of theirs, and were now laughing besides Starflight who's just standing there with an unamised look.

"After all that the princesses pick their alliances and all that boring stuff" Tsunami finishes after calming down from laughing.

"It's not boring Tsunami, it's essential to fulfill the prophecy" Starflight said the her. "We all know this is your favorite part" Sunny said to Starflight, who just sighs and starts talking once he grabs a scroll.

"Burn's allied with the Skywings and Mudwings. She's able to crush the other two in claw-to-claw fight like bugs. If she wins the war she probably will continue it just for fun. For Blister, she's allied with the Seawings. Blister's smarter than the other two together."
And Glory just commented that smart sound good.

"Blister is also conniving. If she won, she may try to take over the other tribes. Starting the war was her idea too, since she knows she can't kill Burn in a regular duel for the throne." "And lastly, Blaze is the Sandwing favorite, she's with the Icewings and the rest of the Sandwings"

That's  when Sunny asked Starflight why couldn't she be queen instead of the other two. To which Starflight replied "That's because Burn would destroy her in a duel, plus she's as smart as a concussed sheep. And thanks for making me play as her every time, Tsunami."

He said to her, who just said 'You're welcome Starflight'. "So all we have to do is pick a side to fulfill the prophecy, right? But who should we choose if all of them are terrible?" Sunny asked.

"Hey Starflight, what side are the Nightwings and Rainwings on?" Darksea asked, still laying on the flat rock. "A Nightwing wrote our prophecy named Morrowseer. But besides that, the Nightwings aren't involved in the war."

Starflight said the Darksea, "Maybe that's because the Nightwings are soooooo mysterious and sooooooo powerfull" Tsunami said sitting next to Darksea.

"But if they can see the future then wouldn't they know who wins?" Clay said. "They could also just tell everyone that and we can go home" "I'm not sure that's how it works like that......" Starflight said to Tsunami.

"As for the Rainwings they're not involved in the war either" Starflight said afterwards, "Besides who would want to be allied with them. Listen to Kestrel guys, we're all too lazy and stupid to be in it!" Glory said with some spots of red over her scales.

"Don't say that Glory! You're not stupid or lazy, you're smart and active!" Darksea said walking up to her. And the others agreed with him. 'Thats nice to know they care for me' A voice said that sounds like Glory's voice, Darksea looked around but quickly looked back to Glory.

"Hey Darksea you ok? You looked like you were looking for something?" Glory asked him. "Huh? Oh...... yeah I'm fine just thought I heard something that's all" He said and gets up, "I'm going to find Webs to start my lesson"

Darksea walked around and find Webs in the history cave. Webs turns around after hearing some movements behind him. Darksea greeted Webs and Webs greeted back, they then started to begin Darksea's private lesson.

After about 30 minutes the stopped the lesson. Webs was about to leave before Darksea asked him where he put scrolls about Nightwing powers. Webs told him where Darksea thanked him and Webs left the cave.

Darksea grabbed the scroll after looking at the area Webs told where it is. He looked at the rolled scroll and read the label on it. The label said 'Information About Nightwings' Darksea unrolled the scroll and started to read the scroll.

But there wasn't much written in the scroll, most of what is in it just say that it's either forgotten or kept in secret. Disappointed Darksea sighed only to hear the boulder entrance opening, 'Why's it opening this late at night? I'm sure the others heard it too' Darksea thought and started to walk there.

As he walked closer he could hear the guardians talking about someone and what he'll think about the dragonets.

Darksea turned the corner to see a Nightwing that looks larger than Kestel or Dune, the guardians and three of the dragonets already there with Clay and Tsunami coming out of the water. Darksea joined the group as the Nightwing lands in front of them.

"Welcome back, Morrowseer" Kestrel said to the Nightwing.
