In their defense, it wasn't like they were planning to do any of this, entirely a spur of the moment decision that neither of them could stop themselves from doing.

But, let's get a little background first, before we get into the smut.

After the travel ban had failed to be lifted for what felt like the hundredth time, both of their expectations rising and being crushed again in the most recent disappointment, Dream was going to take matters into his own hands.

Not in the buying a private jet kind of way. More so locking down that sweet piece of ass that he didn't want to get away.

Why wait?

Dream wasn't one to waste time when he really wanted something, that thing being his best old buddy pal, the one and only GeorgeNotFound.

So, Dream asked him out.

After the initial first few hours of George not believing it to be genuine, that he was just joking around, like Dream, come on, be serious.

But, finally, George got the memo that Dream wasn't kidding, he wanted to make this thing they had official.

George denied knowing that they had a thing.

Which was a lie.

Then, one pinky promise later that Dream wasn't pranking him or that he wasn't trying to trick George into confessing his feelings or something, they sealed the deal.

Dream and George were now legally a long distance couple.

That would change soon, though, as George constantly kept a tab open on plane tickets to Florida, ready to go as soon as he could to his Dream; they had to work with what they had right now, being far apart in two whole different countries.

All things considered, everything was going fairly smoothly. They called all the time, actually they did that anyway so it wasn't a big change, Dream would buy George gifts, okay another thing he already did, wait were they really not dating this whole time, are you sure?

Sources say they're sure.

Alright then.

The biggest change was how they could talk to each other now, more open with their little sappy feelings and all that adoration Dream doused George in amplified even more, somehow.

He would sit in his chair, all starry eyed and down so bad it would have been hard for anyone else to listen to, George, of course, ate all the praises right up, yum; Dream twirling the wire from his headset in his fingers like a teenager on a landline phone calling their high school sweetheart until their mom told them to get off. (Which, by the way, was Sapnap in this situation, who would call Dream out of his room, starving, waiting for Dream to feed him).

They were both so swept away in each other, living out the romance all of us could dare dream about, their dynamic inspiring everyone to believe that love just might exist. It would be such a shame for them to not at least try to be together at this point, like, millions of people were rooting for them.

And, they did try, everything working out so well in the first few months they were together, planning out the inevitable trip of George joining Dream down in Florida and what they would do once he got there.

That specific conversation is what started it all.

"You know that you're going to have to greet me with a kiss when I pick you up, right?" Dream grinned, laying back on his bed, his phone laying next to him on this pillow, pretending it was the actual George, talking to the other late into the night.
