It was early morning, 7:23 AM. Within one of the many rooms in the big house, Eren slept soundly in his bed. His chest rising and falling peacefully, deeply asleep, stuck inside of his own little world within his subconscious. That's when a loud knock came from his door, waking him up. His sight, going from black to seeing his smooth ceiling, he shifted, propped himself onto his elbows and looked at his door drowsily.

More knocks came, and he groaned tiredly.

"Coming.." He muttered, knowing well that whoever it was on the other side of his door didn't hear him at all. After getting up, he lazily walked over to his door, fixing up his messy hair that reached to his shoulders before opening the door.

"Hey, Eren! Good morning!"

"Mornin, Hange."

"Mikasa and I decided to make some breakfast for everyone today. There's some downstairs for you, come join us!" The woman said happily, the news making Eren smile small.

"Alright, I'll be there."

"See ya then!" And with that, she walked off in content, making her way downstairs while Eren closed his door and turned around to get himself fixed up. He threw on some causal clothes, put his hair in a low ponytail, and washed his face before heading downstairs to join everyone in the dining room.

"ugh..." Armin groaned, making Mikasa look at him with confusion and slight concern.

"What's wrong?" She asked him, and Armin looked at her with a thinking expression on his face.

"I feel like I'm missing something important today..."

"...really? Hm.."

"You know? Like if it's a special day today? It feels like it, I just can't place my finger on what it is."

Mikasa nodded and looked down at her phone for a second. The date was read in her mind, and yet, there was no spark.

"You're right. It's a special today... but I can't remember either..." The two were left thinking, before Mikasa shook her head. "I wouldn't bother trying to find out. It'll only give me a headache. It'll come to us eventually." She nodded at Armin, and he nodded back in agreement.

"You're right. I'll drop it for now."

Mikasa nodded again, and that's when Eren walked into the dining room. A sweet smile on his face that lit up the whole room.

"Heeyyy Eren!" Connie spoke up happily, noticing Eren's cheerful demeanor.

"Hey! Guess what day it is?" He asked, sitting down, looking around at everyone who were either not paying attention or just confused. The room fell silent, and then that's when some began to speak up slightly.

"March 30th?" Connie said, almost in a whisper as if afraid that something strange or bad will happen. Eren only stared, before shrugging it off. I mean, it's Connie, he forgets everything.

"Yeah?" Sasha agreed, but she's literally like his twin. But what shook him was Armin.

"What's special about today?" The blond asked, catching Eren completely off guard. Out of everyone, he didn't expect Armin to forget. They're childhood friends... how could he anyway? It was strange and hurtful in a way. Or is Eren just too sensitive?
