The Dragon God Slayer

Project: Dragon God Slayer

It's dark. I feel dizzy and uncomfortable. My head was pounding and my throat was dry. I could feel my hands and feet tied by metal chains. I could also feel I'm laying on a metal bed I guess. I wanted to open my eyes, but it hurts so bad so I kept them closed. I hear people's footsteps coming close to me.

"The medication is working. Her body is normal now" a man said."I'm surprised you brought her here without drawing attention"

"Yeah fire hazard. Look that body, looks delicious to eat" another man said.

"Shut up gold watch! We didn't bring her here to eat her" I hear a man shout.

"My my, what a beautiful and strong body indeed" a woman laughed. "I hope she's strong enough handle its power"

I hear another footsteps coming. "Is she awake?"

"No, not yet"

"Then we should leave" I hear their footsteps walking away and a door closing. Since my eyes were closed, I later slumber to sleep.

My eyes opens softly and the place was pitch black with no lights at all. I tried to move, but her hands and legs were bound by metal chains. I noticed I was laying on a metal bed. I forgot about it. I then hear a door opens and the lights turn on. I looked up and saw five strange people walking towards me. First was a blue haired man with two horns on his head. Second was a orange haired man with tattoos on his face, chest and right arm. Third was a white haired man wearing gold armor. Fourth was a blonde haired woman wearing a hood and the last was a.....wood man! He has horns and some kind of crown on his head. My eyes narrows as I tries to recall what happened to me....but.....nothing.

"Ah, she's awake" the orange haired man said.

"Who are you?" I asked weakly.

"My name is Ignia. These are Selene, Mercphobia, Aldoron, Viernes. We are the gods of dragons" he introduced and points to said people. "Now, who are you?"

"Lucy..." I said.

"Lucy who?" Mercphobia asked.

"I-I.....I don't know" I said. "I can't remember anything......why can't I remember?"

"Not a single thing?" Ignia asked and I nodded. Ignia and the rest turn to each other and discussing something. Probably about me.

"So Vince was right" Selene said.

"It doesn't matter. She's ours now" Viernes said.

"Yeah, you're right" Ignia sighed.

"Let the project: dragon god slayer, begin!" Aldoron said with arms crossed. They left the room and a man came in. He has horns on his head, so I guess he's a dragon too

"Hello, my name is Vince. I'm the sky dragon" he introduced himself. "Do you know what happened to you?"

I shook my head. "No"

"Well due to a recent accident, you have severe brain damage. Because of this, you've lost your memories. I'm truly sorry about it" he said calmly.

"It's okay" I said.

"Before I continue, let me ask you some questions, just to be sure?" He asked. I nodded.

"Okay, where do you live?"

"I don't know"

"Are you in a guild?"

"I don't know"

"Do you.....have friends?"

"I. Don't. Know" I answered.

"Now let's get started. Lucy, what am about to do is going to put you in a lot of pain, so endure it" he said as he put a box on a table and brings out a Lacrima that I've never seen before.

"Wait, what?!" I yelled. He attached a metal of some kind on my head to prevent me from moving. He also blindfolded me with a piece of cloth.

"It's best if you don't see" he said.

"What are you going to do to me?" I ask nervously.

"Simple. I'm going to give you dragon slaying magic" he replied.

"Dragon slaying magic. The power to kill dragons!" I thought.

"Brace yourself" he says.

I don't know what he was doing since he blindfold me. I felt a light pressure on my head, but suddenly felt a jolt of pain in my head. Then the pain spread everywhere in my body. I tried my best not to scream, but it was starting to feel really painful making my body aches. It was so painful that I couldn't stay quiet anymore, I screamed loudly. I couldn't hear anything except for my screams and sounds of objects dropping on a tray.

After what feels like an eternity, the pain, the aching stopped. I breath in for air from the screaming.

"It is done" Vince said before I fell unconscious.

I woke up again, still tied down on this stuff. Honestly, this is the most confusing time of my life. Who am I? Where am I? What is this place? Why do I only remember my name? Why I woke up here with dragons? I thought they were extinct. This is the strangest thing that has ever happen to me. My head was pounding. My vision was blurry and every part of my body is in pain. I could see those people talking about me.

"It's a success!" Vince said.

"Three weeks and she's still alive. I must say I'm impressed" Selene praises.

"I was unconscious for three weeks!!" I thought loudly.

"Now you will work on her pain tolerance" Aldoron says in a calm tone. "This is a great way for her in future battles"

"Oh, as if what you did to me wasn't bad enough" I said weakly, but sarcastically.

"Look whose awake. I think she's ready" Ignia said, smirking at me.

"Begin" Aldoron commands.

They left me here with Vince to do whatever he wants with me. I started trembling in fear as he comes closer to me holding something. "It's going to be one painful day, so be prepared" he warns me.

"WAIT! NO! NO! ARGHHH!!!!!!"

Time Skip

I pant and opened my eyes as Vince stops torturing me. That's right, torture. He went all sadist on me. Knives, needles, strangling, pouring icy and boiling water, iron batons, electrocution and you do NOT want to know the rest. It was very painful, but I started to feel almost nothing for me which is incredible. I guess it was a good idea after all. Wait a minute, why am I even here and what do they want from me?!

Just then the moon dragon god, Selene shows up. "Vince, are you done?"

"Yes, she stopped screaming two hours ago. Her body has gotten used to it" Vince replied.

"That's very good. Take her to the testing ground for the final test" she tells him and walks away.

"Testing ground. I don't like the sound of that"
