'Are you ready to see uncle Fabio?' The 26-year old Olivia said her little daughter Hailey. She nodded her little head enthusiastically. The both of them did not saw Fabio for a couple of weeks, because he had been overseas for his work. Olivia parked her car in front of the house her brother Fabio shared with his best friend Tom. The woman took her daughter out of her car seat and before she knew it, the little two-year-old was already off running to the door where her brother already stood with a big grin on his face, with his arms wide open to scoop his little niece up. The two of them absolutely adoring each other. Olivia locked her car and followed Hailey.

'And there is your mom!' Fabio smiled while he held Hailey in his arms and saw his sister walking to the front door.

'Hey brother, long time no see!' Olivia gave him a side hug and Fabio kissed her cheek before closing the front door behind them.

'I can say to same to you!' Fabio let a yawn, still feeling a little jet-lagged from the Austin Grand Prix, he had just got home yesterday and his schedule was a bit messed up because of the time difference.

'How was America?' She asked curiously, Fabio had become second at the race at the Circuit of of the Americas.

'It was okay! It was great to leave Texas with some good points. And how have you two been doing while I was away?' He set Hailey on the ground and she quickly walked towards the box where Fabio always held the toys she bought for her to play when they were visiting.

'Good. Hailey has been amazing. We went to visit some preschools. I need to make a choice soon as to which one she is going. She's getting so big quickly!' Olivia exclaimed as the two siblings went to sit on the couch.

'And how have you been?' Fabio looked at his sister. Since everything that happened with David, she had made it a habit to talk about everything, except herself. He hated to see her so insecure about herself. She was a real warrior in his eyes, making sure that Hailey had the best childhood possibly. After the incident with David, his sister told him everything that happened, the fights, the abuse, the unplanned pregnancy she had just discovered. Fabio felt angry and sad that he didn't notice everything that went on behind closed doors. He kinda blamed himself for being so busy with his career to notice any signs. Ever since then Fabio became very protective about Olivia and when Hailey was being born he had promised himself to give the two of them the best he could.

'Doing also good! Just looking after Hailey, working on my novel, and visiting our parents. You know the usual. My life is not so eventful as yours.' Olivia winked at him. Her life was pretty simple and she liked her life that way. After everything that happened in the last few years she only made safe choices, not wanting to get hurt again. No distraction and no more men who probably could hurt her. She was happy with Hailey, the little girl the best thing that came out of her time with David. Sometimes Olivia felt sad that her daughter didn't had a dad figure in her life. The poor little girl would never get to meet her dad.

'I have a question for you. What do you think about attending a Grand Prix soon?' Fabio carefully asked, looking for a reaction on Olivia's face. He had been wanting to ask her before, but he had been afraid that she would not be ready. Now that Hailey was a little older, he thought that maybe she finally would come along. He missed the times when the two of them would travel to races, just two carefree teenagers having fun.

'I don't know..' Olivia said, in her mind she was already thinking about all the things she had to arrange because of Hailey. The truth was that Olivia hadn't attended a race in more than five years. When she started dating David, he didn't liked her going away for the weekend to a foreign country so she simply didn't go, not wanting another fight. Then Hailey was being born and she had other priorities, her daughter being the center of her world.

'Come on!' Fabio sighed, wanting his sister to come along to a race once again. His sister used to come to a lot of his races when they were younger. 'Mom and dad wouldn't mind to watch over Hailey for one weekend, you know that. You deserve some fun too.'

'I need to think about it, okay?' Olivia looked at her daughter, who was now happily playing with some toys on the ground.

'Please? You haven't been in the paddock for almost six years. It is about time you finally get to see me ride in MotoGP in real-life.' Olivia sighed, knowing he was right. She only had watched his MotoGP races at home on the television. Mostly with just her and Hailey and sometimes the two of them went to watch the race at her parent's house.

'I will come to one, but only if mom and dad can watch Hailey. Your lucky that I love you.' Olivia said, making Fabio smile big.

'Do you hear that, Hailey? You are gonna have a fun weekend with grandma and grandpa!' Fabio told his niece to get her attention and went over to her and tickled her making her giggle out loud and making Olivia roll her eyes.
