'Mommy?' Hailey asked her mom as she was playing with a doll on the couch as the television in the living room was broadcasting a MotoGP Practice Session of the second race weekend of the doubleheader. It had been a week since the race weekend in Spain. Fabio had an amazing race that weekend and had won the Spanish Grand Prix. Olivia was so glad that she could witness her brother winning a Grand Prix. Seeing him up there at the podium made her really proud.
'Yes, baby?' Olivia asked her daughter who looked at the television, they were showing Fabio getting ready for the session. He was sitting on his chair in the garage with Tom right beside him.
'If I wave to uncle Fabio, can he see me?' The little girl said as she carefully watched her favorite uncle's every move on the screen.
'I think he can!' Olivia smiled at her daughter as she started to wave enthusiastically to the television. Olivia shared a look at her best friend Amy at how cute the little girl was being. Amy Fields was also sat on the couch at the little household of the two Quartararo girls. Amy had been Olivia's childhood since forever. They met each other at school and have been inseparable ever since.
'So how was the Spanish Grand Prix?' Amy asked her friend.
'It was really great. I enjoyed being back in the paddock. The Yamaha team was nice and welcoming and the race was a thriller. It was so great to see my brother on the top step of the podium. I even got to sit on Fabio's bike and...' Suddenly the television showed the garage of Marc and Olivia stopped talking for a second. That man was doing things with her in her mind that she didn't like. He was looking incredibly sexy in his race suit with his hair a bit messy, discussing some last-minute things with his race engineer. Amy looked carefully at her best friend was suddenly taking a real interest in what was happening at the Grand Prix.
'Who's that? Looks like he has a spell on you.' Amy smirked at the blonde girl.
'What? No! Don't be so stupid.' Olivia said a little too quickly and rolled her eyes as she tried to hide her flushed cheeks.
'So, who is that boy and why does he get you all flustered?' Amy liked to tease her, they had a good friendship like that. She knew about her difficult past and she wanted nothing more than to see Olivia happy in love again. Her friend deserved some happiness again after all those dark years. She was doing an amazing job with Hailey, there was no doubt about that, but Amy thought that she had to think about herself sometimes too.
'Don't lie, girl.' Amy could tell that there was more behind it. 'Did you meet him last weekend?'
Olivia was looking at Hailey who was now playing with a little motorbike she got from Fabio. She glared at her friend and wished the floor could swallow her up. She didn't want to talk about it, but she also knew how stubborn Amy sometimes could be. She would not stop before she got what she want.
'You did, didn't you? He is gorgeous, damn girl! Lucky you.' Amy winked at Olivia with a smirk on her face.
'I might did. At a party.' Olivia simply said and was hoping that she now would drop the subject.
'And?'
'Nothing! We just talked, nothing more. So don't worry. I don't need a man. Hailey and I have always been just fine on our own.' Olivia said a little bitter and changed to subject to let her know that she was done talking about it. 'Do you want another cup of tea?'
Amy nodded at her question. Of course she had noticed the change in her voice and decided to drop it for now. But she knew her friend better than anyone and could see that man was all she could think about it. She just needed Olivia to see and believe that not all men were like her ex David.

'Marc, wait!' Fabio had just finished all duties for the Saturday as he saw the former World Champion walking by the Yamaha truck.
'Hey man, what's up?' Marc said while giving him a manly handshake.
'Not much! But I was wondering if you could come to my birthday party next week?' Fabio said with a smile. It was almost his birthday and he had decided to throw a little party at his house to celebrate it.
'That sounds like fun! I will think about it. I will let you know as soon as possible.' Marc said.
'Of course, let me know when you decided. Alex is welcome too.' Fabio told him, knowing he and Alex were almost attached to each other's hip, just like he and Tom are.
'Thanks, I will let him know. Is your sister not with you this weekend?' Marc asked him. Marc hadn't seen her around all weekend so far and he had to say he was feeling a little disappointed about that. He was hoping to see her again.
'No, she has some duties at home. That's why she doesn't come to a lot of racers.' Fabio said not getting into much detail. He didn't know how much Marc knew and it was not his place to tell more.
'Alright, let her know I said hi.' Fabio nodded and Marc heard his name being called a little further down the paddock.
'I think I have to go. I will let you know about the party.' Marc said before heading to the Honda hospitality where Jose was waiting for him.
'That's alright! I see you later.' Fabio smirked as Marc walked away. He was definitely not wrong the last time, they both were interested in each other. Fabio had seen his sister's face when he was talking with her and it was a look he hadn't seen for years. All he wanted was his sister to be happy again and what if that person was Marc? He could live with that, he was a great guy on and off track. Fabio could be very protective but he also knew that there were much worse guys on the planet for his sister than the fellow rider. She deserved happiness after all the darkness she had been through and just hoped that Olivia would open her heart again.
