Chp. 15 Nightmare

Rain pours down on the group of people that were form in a circle with two individuals in the middle. One was on both of their knees and the other was standing above them. The person kneeling was weak and tired. They were exhausted from the fight they just had. Mud and blood were on both of them and the others that were around them. The people around them were on their knees with their hands tied behind their backs.

The person that was kneeling in front of the person standing was then grabbed by the throat. She choked but didn't do anything to stop the person. She closed her eyes as the rain hit her face. Slowly she felt a blade go through her chest. Blood came out of her mouth. She lowered her head to look at her killer who was smirking.

The killer let her go and she landed on her knees. She then fell to her side as everything became blurry but last thing she acknowledged was a someone yelling in pain like they just lost something important. Then a figure hovered over her. She felt hands on her on cheeks. Her vision became clear to her. The person in front of her was her lover.

Rin jolted awake from her nightmare. She sat straight up and breathed heavy. She looked to her left to see a naked person in her bed. She realized it was Alicia still asleep. She took deep breathes and calmed down.

"It was just a dream." She mumbled to herself before getting out of bed to change into her clothes.

When she was done putting her clothes on, she heard groaning noises. She turned towards the bed to see Alicia moved to face her. She used her left arm to search the bed for her. But when she didn't feel anyone there, she opened her eyes and looked straight at her.

"Come back to bed." She said in her morning voice.

Rin sighed before climbing back in bed with her. Once settled in, Alicia places her head on Rins chest, placing her left hand on her stomach. Alicia started tracing Rin scars. She traced the scar that Charlie had given her.

"I'm killing her if it's the last thing I do." Rin says as she stares at the wall that was behind Alicia.

Alicia pulled back to look up at her. She searched into Rin eyes, but she only saw determination but also sadness. Rin avoided the eye contact but Alicia scooted up so she would have to look at her in the eyes.

"Rin, there has to be another way." She calmly said.

Rin instantly got out of the bed to pace around the room. She was angry, no she was pissed and emotional. Running her hands through her hair, she took a shaky breath.

"There is no other way, Alicia. She made me do things. She made me kill my own fucking father! I can't do this anymore. I have to put an end to her and this entire community of rapist and killers." She says as she grabbed a hoodie to put it on.

"Rin." Alicia slowly got out of the bed.

"Don't...just don't...don't try to stop me on this Alicia. I need to end her for everything she did to me!" She aggressively grabbed her katana. "I'm putting an end to her today. Whoever came here with you, get them and get as far away as possible from here." She grabs her pistol as she loaded it up.

Alicia quickly put her clothes on as she watched Rin gather her things. Alicia knew that she was on a self-destructive path and there was nothing she could do to stop it. She grabs onto Rin shoulders to make her stop.

"Rin think about it first, we can just run. Run away from here and never go back." Alicia tried to talk to her, but Rin moved away out of her touch to continue grabbing her things.

"We can't run away from here. She will chase us down to the ends of the Earth. She will not stop, that's why I need to end it here and now...you know, I should've just gone with Morgan back to Alexandria. I should've just convinced everyone to come with us to Alexandria because I know it's safe there and there are good people there." Rin says grabbing her bag. "Just go Alicia, grab everyone and leave this place. I will meet up with when I'm done."
