Chp.2 And So It Begins

She sighed as she looked out the window of the car. She watched as they passed by many trees and houses. In matter of minutes they arrive at their home. Her 'home' was only a few minutes away if she took the short cut. They enter into the house. This wasn't the first time she's been into their home. The first time she did was when her and Alicia were partners for a projects or when Madison asked for her to come over to help her with stuff.

"Rin can I talk to you in the other room?" Madison asked as she stared at her in the eyes.

She glance over at Alicia to see her looking at her with a confused expression. She look back at Madison and nodded her head. They walk into a different room. Madison let her in first before she closed the door behind her. She look around to notice that they were in their office room. Rin stood in the middle of the room with her hands in her pockets. She could feel her knife and the gun pressing against her stomach.

"So are you going to tell me what you meant back at the school?" Madison asked in a serious voice.

Rin kept her back facing Madison as she looked out the window that was in the room. She approached it and look out for any sign of the infected. She then sighed and turn so part of her left body was showing to Madison.

"You should understand pretty soon because of what I said. You have a day or so before everything goes to hell. I advise not going out after dark and to start packing your things." Rin said before turning her whole body towards her and started walking towards the door. "Now excuse me but I must be going now."

"But you just got here! Besides I have more questions?" Madison pleaded for her to stay.

"Questions that'll be answer soon. Now I must be going." Rin grab the door handle with her left hand.

"I'll see you tomorrow right?"

Rin turn her head to look over her right shoulder then back down at the door handle. Then she mumble these simple words before she left Madison in the room alone.

"I don't know."

She was almost out the door but stopped when she felt something tug on her shirt. She knew who it was. She slowly turn her head to look behind her to see Alicia behind her.

"Where are you going?"

"Home." She said as Alicia's head was down.

"Are you going to be at school tomorrow?"

"..."

She look at the door handle for a second. She knew that she couldn't say no but she had a feeling that she needed to be at school tomorrow and to actually bring everything that she needs to survive.

"Maybe." She said and exit out of their home and started walking towards her house taking the short cut.

She sighed as she closed the door behind her, locking the door. She leaned back against it as she look down. She slide down and sat on the floor, her board besides her. She sat there for moments thinking. She knew that she had to be ready. Ready to survive. If she didn't have the skills she has now, she wouldn't be able to survive. She clenched her fists together. She stood up abruptly and power walk towards her room.

She grab the bag she prepared the other day and set it on her bed and went through it, to see if she gotten everything that she needed. She grab her katana and put it in a tall slim bag that was black. She put it in her bag. She sighed and clenched her fists together.

"Damn it..." She punch the wall that was near her closet making a hole in the wall.

She felt like she was losing her mind. She had no one to lean on and she knew that it would be bad if someone leaned on her. She felt tears threaten to fall.
