How we became best of friend ni Rodward?

It's start in the park. Actually sa playground near the park sa school ko when i'm in 1st grade.

"Anino.. anino parang multo!" pangbu-bully sa akin. I can not stand those brats lalo na pag kinukuha nila ang baon ko.

Si mommy kasi! I don't get her. All of a suddenly she named me Shaddow. Nakakababa ng selfsteam at parang sunud-sunuran ang personality ang name na yon.

I don't like my name. Really mean it. So i prefer Shad na lang.

I never had a chance to depends myself lalo pa at mga lalaki ang bully sa school.

Not til one day. Snack break noon and as usual hindi ako sa caferia kumakain. I always eat my snacks alone sa may play ground malapit sa school park.

"Oh multo, bakit ka mag-isa?" isang boses ng batang lalaki, same age ko ang nakakuha ng atensyon ko.

"malamang multo nga ako di ba?" sabay bato ng nakakatakot na tingin sa kanya.

Instead he ran away, he just laugh.

What's wrong with that boy?

"Are you not afraid of me?"

"Bakit naman ako matatakot e mas nakakatawa ka when you tried to scares me!" at tumatawa syang ipinakilala ang sarili "Rod here, and you are?"

And doon na nagstart ang friendship namin ni Rod.

Now you all know why i hate my full name, Shaddow.

But since Rod is my bestfriend now, that's not an issue for me anymore. :)

We're having fun time together. And since mayaman sya sa exclusive school sya nag-aaral. But he never fails to see me and shares his snacks with me.

Pumupunta kami sa park just to play til we feel get tired. Every damn day yan. And we never get tired of each others company.

Hanggang highschool days, he still there for me. Though again, sa exclusive school sya nag-aaral.

I never go somewhere else na hindi sya kasama. Kaya even mga manliligaw ko naiintimidate sa kanya dahil lagi ko syang kasama.

"Shad, kaylan ba tayo lalabas ng tayo lang dalawa? Kaylan ba mawawala ang asungot na yan?" sabay pinpoint kay Rod.

He never say a word pag kasa-kasama ko sya pagkasama ko ang mga nanliligaw sa akin. Tahimik lang sya and minding his own business.

So i don't see any problem why they found him interrupting our privacy.

And wala naman ako narinig from him na against sya sa mga suitors ko.

"If you can stand his presence, you are free to go." yan ang lagi kong line pag inaaway nila ang bestfriend ko.

Wala namang ginagawa yong tao sa kanila. Masyado lang silang to the O and to the A, OA! Gosh!

Tapos mapang-asar namang tatawa si Rod pag nakikita nyang nakasimangot na ako when i lost my suitors because of him.

That crazy guy! He didn't do anything but still he scares them away. What's with him anyway?! Hahaha

Actually hindi naman talaga nya kasalanan. Those guys are assholes! If they can accept the people who made me happy, then i don't have time for them.

Isa lang kasi ang ibig sabihin noon, hindi sila seryoso sa pagmamahal na ino-offer nila.

Not til one ordinary day, Rod didn't showed up sa park. Napaka un-usual yon kasi we always went there pagkatapos sa school.
