Boss

Sukuna ran to you and lifted you up off the ground in a bear hug as soon as you walked into the shop. "Can't breath!" You gasp and he squeezes you one last time before letting you down. You spot Satoru at the desk and are a bit concerned when he shoots your pink haired friend a sharp glare.

"I swear to god your a bad friend! Or a good friend that is way to independent! Why the hell didn't you call me?!" Sukuna shouts you hear his tone was laced with concern. And you suddenly felt guilty.

"Look I was fine! Honestly did not want you to worry." You say in your defense and he frowns at you.

"Well you failed because I was worried! And now I am mad." He crosses his arms and you punch his shoulder.

"I'm the worst! I get it! But please you know I can't handle when you give me the silent treatment. So can you just forgive me?!" You whine doing your best Satoru pout impersonation. He glares at you for a few more minutes and then caves. You smile up at him as he mutters a fine.

"Hey! You need to get back to work!" You hear a familiar voice aggressively say behind you. And you turn with your hands on your hip.

"Satoru stop being serious. It's not a good look on you." You threaten and his stern expression falters.

"Well... uh... ugh just come with me y/n!" He says taking your arm and begins pulling you away. Sukuna raises his eyebrow at you in confusion and you mouth another apology. You watch as he sighs and shakes his head waving you off.

"What the hell was that Satoru?" You grumble as you come to an abrupt stop by an office door.

Satoru turns to you and hugs you. You let him but he could tell you were tensing up. "You know I just want all the attention. Forgive me! I love you!!" His voice was his usual playful tone but given how both him and Suguru had been acting it made you do a double take. He pats your head affectionately as he opens the door dragging you inside.

"Hello! So you are the rising star in the shop both in your mechanical skill and apparently boxing?" A very deep raspy voice calls out once you were inside. It takes you a second to adjust to your surroundings. But sitting at your old bosses chair was a mountain of a man. A very attractive man at that. What's with all the insanely attractive people around you recently?! "I'm Toji!" The man greets you and your gaze goes from his green eyes to the scar on his lips as you fumble to reply.

"Y/N-San what is up with you?!" Satoru says shaking your shoulders. He brings you out of your stupor

"Sorry! Nice to meet you!" You say softly which causes Satoru to look at you intensely. You were not a soft spoken individual, a bit awkward but none the less. Toji's presence dominated the room. You were around this type of energy often but his was off the charts.

"It's fine. I'm used to it. I am a bit intimidating when people first see me." He chuckles and the deep sounds reverberates to your core. You laugh half heartedly a bit wary. "Anyways! I am new here so I am going to need someone to be my right hand man..." he pauses for a second as you watch him look you over. "Woman. Sorry I now have come to the realization that the phrase may be a bit misogynistic and outdated." He laughs again and this time you join him genuinely.

"It's fine. As you say I'm used to it. Trying to break the barriers and all that." You answer and he looks at you with a new found respect.

"That is our y/n! She is special Toji so if I hear you give her any trouble there will be an issue. I can promise you that." Satoru suddenly stood taller and his tone took on a tone you had not witnessed often. Your friend was a goofball most of the time. But when it came to people he cared about he could flip into a darker persona.

You watched as Toji eyed him for a bit, assessing the risk. There was an uneasy tension but then Toji smiles and nods. You feel an urge to break whatever is happening between them. "Hey let me show you around and introduce you to everyone!" You shout suddenly and the mens head swivel to you. Toji stands and you hold in a breath. Holy shit! He was even bigger if that was possible. His massive arms cross as he nods in agreement. You look over at Satoru with a raised eyebrow and he looks back in confusion.

As you walk out you pull Satoru close and whisper, "Toji is fine as hell. He could get it. Where did you find him?" You feel him stiffen at your words and his bright blue eyes widen a bit with an unreadable expression.

Satoru clicks his teeth in thought. You feel like you may have pissed him off but in the past you joked around with him like this all the time. "I swear I am going to lock you away in my room so no one else can touch you." He says and it was your turn to reel back in shock. Before you could respond he turns to you with a teasing smile and you smack at his side.

"Bro you creeped me the fuck out with that yandere bullshit! Just no!" You shout and he laughs loudly at your freaked out expression.

"I'm not into guys per say but hell yeah. I get it that man is stacked. Who am I to stop you?!" He says softly and you breath in a sigh of relief as you see Toji stop waiting for you both to catch up.

You introduce him to your fellow mechanics. You give a tour of the facility. He did not speak to much as he allowed you to explain everything. You appreciated that about him. You were often talked over when it came to things related to your profession since it was mostly men. After a while he wanted to observe you at work. You agreed but Satoru as you had predicted made things more complicated by asking stupid questions every two seconds. Overall your day went well. You got a serious but respectable vibe from your new boss.

"Toji I think you will fit in just fine! And Satoru I can't believe I am saying this..." you mutter and he perks up at your words. "But good job in finding him." He grins proudly and you roll your eyes. Toji shakes your hand and motions to join him back in the office. You sighed in annoyance when Satoru followed behind.

Once inside Toji offered you a promotion. He explained he was serious about needing help. With the title you were given a very nice raise and use of any of the company cars. At the mention of being able to drive the many spectacular vehicles you grew a bit giddy. Both men looked at you fondly when you expressed your excitement. You barely realized by the end of the discussion that it was time to head home.

"Y/N if your free. Would you want to grab something to eat with me?" Toji says as you all begin to head out. Before you had a chance to utter a response, Satoru cuts him off.

"Aww we have already made plans. Suguru is joining us to! So maybe another time!" Satoru exclaims and you watch him pull out his phone in a rush. You apologize to Toji who tells you not to worry about it.

"So Satoru... where are these dinner plans? Because I think you just cockblocked the fuck out of me." You growled as you both made your way outside.

He gasps dramatically "Me? Stopping sexual activity?! Blasphemy!! I told you all three of us needed to grab dinner to catch up!" He defends himself but you look at him questioningly. He shoves his phone in your face as you see a text conversation between Suguru. You decide not to question him further as you get into his car. You used to enjoy eating out with your best friends. Why did it suddenly feel so weird?
