Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magical spell. The monsters we angry, violent, possessing more LV then LOVE. As the years went on the monsters become more and more hateful, soon lashing out at others. Monsters started dusting left and right, chaos broke throughout the underground.
King Asgore hated seeing his people destroy each other like this. He tried to provide hope but to no avail. He commanded the Royal guard to stop any assaults and fights they saw, but most members turned a blind eye. Asgore soon gave up. He knew the only way his people would be happy was on the surface, bringing harm to the humans who forced them underground.
When Chara, the first human child fell into the underground all hell broke loss. Everyone wanted the child dead, everyone except for king Asgore, queen Toriel, and prince Asriel. The Royal family protected Chara as one of their own.
Eventually the human child fell ill and died. Prince Asriel promised Chara to absorb her soul, bring her body back to the surface, to her home town and set her down in the bed of golden flowers that laid in the middle of the town. Asriel did as he promised only to be attacked and killed by the humans.
The king and queen were devastated, losing both their children that day. The King had given up on hope and swore to free his people and take revenge on the humans.
You know the rest. King Asgore killed human children, queen Toriel left to live in the ruins. Dr W.D. Gaster tried to find a way to break the barrier and tried to create monsters strong enough to win the war once they were freed. Creating Sans and Papyrus, and experimenting on them, Gaster falls into the core being erased from existence, blah blah blah.
So here is the story of this worlds Sans.
