The crowd pushed and shoved, using her eyesight, Aria savored Killua pensive yet so what bemused expression. The media was causing quite a fuss but it would be over soon. Then they would go to USJ, and Aria would have to make sure that Killua didn't accidently kill the Nomu.Squinting, she noticed Iida and Uraraka reaching out for each other. Any moment now.
Iida soared for the ceiling, using her photographic memory vision, snapped a photo of Iida being parallels of the photo on the door. She would be sure to show her brother and family this photo later.
Aria snuck a glance at the relaxing crowd an spotted Bakugo. She remembered when she tagged along with her brothers mission when another dimension synapses had happened and Bakugo had been flung to the Haikyuu dimension. At that time, her brother had been two years older then she was now.
That meant that Aria had been a spicy 6 year old and had kneed Bakugo in the groin.
In her defense he had called her a brat and her second personality had kicked in. Aria cracked a smile.
"Was Iida's performance that funny?" Killua grumped beside her. He clearly had been ruffed up by the crowd, his eyes flickered warily, "Where's Alluka?"
Alluka POV:
"Be careful." Kalluto instructed not sounding worried at all.
"Its so pretty! The sky is blue and OMYGOD look Kalluto a bird! A dog! A building!"
Little brother scowled at her, "I don't see the big deal."
"I haven't seen this stuff for years little brother!"
Kalluto flinched, as if being called her little brother hurt him somehow, "If you fall of the building and get hurt, make it clear to Killua that it was your idea to go on the roof."
This time it was Allukas turn to flinch, they weren't stupid enough to not sense the poison in Kallutos words. The ecstasy of seeing things she had only imagined while confined (on top of a view no less) was great. Alluka had been here long enough to glimpse it, but from the roof, the sight was amazing.
Alluka glanced at Kalluto, who was just looking at his nails.
I want his right handed middle finger.
Alluka froze. Nanika hadn't asked for anything in a while, Allukas vision went hazy.
I Want His Right Handed Middle Finger.
For a while, Alluka was tempted to just lose consciousness as usual. Then she remembered that Aria had told her that Nanikas needs could hurt people.
I WANT HIS RIGHT HANDED MIDDLE FINGER. Nanika cried.
"Can I have-"
"No." Kalluto snapped.
Was he going to get hurt?
Inside her mind, Nanikas world raged, I-I-I want-want- h-h-
Kalluto looked up, and his purple eyes glared at her. Alluka felt a stab in her heart from being hated so badly. the worst part is, people like mother and father hated her as an object.
Because she was broken and weird.
Looking at little brothers eyes, it was clear he saw her as a person, and detested her.
W-want.
As usual, Allukas mind was too cloudy to act up. Everything felt like a dream.
Want hihis-
"There you guys are!" Killua exclaimed, before realizing then cursing under his breath, "Nanika awaken."
Alluka felt the familiar fade to darkness.
When Alluka woke up again Kalluto was glaring and Killua, and they were standing, "Take better care of your pet next time." He seethed and stormed away.
"His hand is trembling." Aria noted.
"NO ITS NOT."
Alluka noticed his hands, which had stopped trembling and now made a certain shape. Huh. Isn't that what Killua used to do? She couldn't remember. In her head, Nanika was bawling, saying all sorts of apologies. Alluka felt bad for them, but they had almost killed little brother! And that would have been terrible!
"I'm sorry." She apologized the moment she reencountered him.
Kalluto glared, "Whatever, maybe somewhere along that monster you care, but your brother certainly doesn't. That spoiled-"
"Don't say anything mean about Killua!"
Kallutos eyes widened for a second then he turned away, "Yeah. I forgot all you two care about is each other and your precious Nanika."
Alluka wanted to cry. What had she done? What had anyone done? Maybe she was a bit ignorant but it's not like anyone would tell her something.
It's fine. Just put on a smile and try to cheer everyone up.
Will that really work though?
No right?
Yes?
Nanika?
Alluka returned to class. The day seemed to fly by, she barely payed any attention to class or the USJ event. How could she? She had nearly killed someone today, yet here she was standing in a class full of people try to save others. Irony as Aria would say. She was silent as she trudged home, and not even Killua came to comfort her.
At home, another argument broke out.
"You told her?"
"She has the right to know her capabilities."
"Are you serious? Look at her now she hasn't said anything!"
"Not really a bad thing." Kalluto grumbled from the sofa, "they won't be able to ask for right handed middle fingernail."
Alluka read about quirks sullenly. She didn't feel anything like her normal cheerful self. She wanted to improve, be rational and cunning like Aria, happy and reassuring like Killua, maybe even determined and loyal like Kalluto. But nope, she was just Alluka, cheerful but useless.
She stood up abruptly, louder then intended she declared, "I'm going to go practice Nen."
Killua walked over, "I'll help."
"No! It's fine." Alluka found herself glancing at Kalluto, looking for something she probably wasn't going to find.
Aria walked over, "It's not. If you practice on your own, you might get hurt. Plus, it's about time you learned Ren. I will help." Killua started to protest, "And our well intending boys will have all the time in the world to sort our their problems."
Before Alluka could squeak, Aria dragged her away and slammed the door to her room.
Alluka took in Arias room. It was simple ivory, gold, and silver colour themed. A strange helmet lied on the floor, along with a scary looking javelin/trident. It was neat and tidy.
Arias golden eyes stared into hers, what does she see? Aria said, "Let's get something straight Alluka. You too Nanika."
