Alluka sat down nervously in Aria's room. After having a staredown with Killua for what seemed like an hour, Aria entered the room as well. Alluka didn't know it, but Aria had soundproofed and secured the room while she walked to her drawer.
There was a long unsettling silence. Aria shuffled in her drawer and pulled out a small ring. The ring was gold with a small silver gem on it. Aria put the ring on her hand and tapped the gem, the ring then transformed into a trident.
Aria tapped it again. It turned into a bracelet with considerably more silver. Aria put the bracelet on.
"Alluka, come here."
Alluka paused, then stood up slowly and walked towards Aria. Aria tapped her forehead, "Nanika awaken."
Suddenly, almost as if she was choking, Alluka blacked out.
Aria looked at the black and white face of Nanika who seemed surprised that she had suddenly been pulled out of her host. Aria glanced at her bracelet. It was a multi-functional bracelet that could control dimensional guardians. This included things like the four calamaties, and certain aliens in space.
"Ai. I understand your fairly young, but you should know better than to appear outside your territory, much less realm."
"I'm sorry." Nanika squeaked, "I don't know. I love Killua and-"
"I know. Though I don't really care. But still, the fact that your practically a baby was probably why my family let you off the hook for possessing Alluka, but from now on, don't appear outside your dimension unless I say so. You can only appear to protect Alluka. As a matter of fact, you have to."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to possess the Zold-"
"That doesn't fix it. You nearly killed Kalluto. The four calamities have been guarding the realms gate if hunter x hunter to other realms for as long as life. You should know better."
"I didn't mean to hurt-I-" Nanika looked like she was about to cry.
Aria sighed. The four calamities guarded the lost continent the stop any Hunter x Hunter characters from trespassing to other realms or dimensions. They had done pretty good, with a few exceptions. Luckily the only people who had passed their guard had been mistaken as madman by whatever dimension took them in.
"Nanika."
Nanika looked up. She saw the shining light from the bracelet and was drawn to it, like moth to a flame. She felt a part of her slip away but didn't make much of it.
"Go back in your host."
"Ai."
Alluka woke up, "Aria! What happened to Nanika? I can't feel her anymore!"
"Alluka." Aria sighed, "This might be hard for you, but listen."
Killua POV:
Killua paced uneasily outside of their room. Aria must of done something to the room, because he couldn't hear a thing that they were saying. Kalluto sat on the chair not to far from the door.
After what seemed like an eternity, the door opened.
"I'm really sorry! I didn't want to hurt anyone!" Alluka sobbed the moment she came outside.
Kalluto rolled his eyes.
Aria sighed and glanced at Kalluto, "It fine now. You don't need to worry about Nanika anymore."
"What did you do to her?" Killua snapped.
"Don't worry, Alluka will be fin-"
"I'm talking about Nanika!"
"Oh. She won't come out unless I tell her."
"What? How is that possibly."
Killua watched as Aria reached and reflectively touched her earing. Had she had that earring before?
"Did you seal her?" Kalluto asked, sounding a bit concerned.
"No."
"What did you do then?" Killua grilled.
"Look, we have more important things to talk about." Aria groaned, rubbing her temples. For a girl younger than him, she reminded Killua an awful lot of Bisky.
Killua glared, "Like what?"
"Like the USJ trip."
"How is that important?"
"Trust me. It is."
Killua took a breath and leaned against a wall, "How so?"
"I dunno. Maybe the groups of villains that are about to swarm the site?"
There was moment of silence before Kalluto said, "That isn't our problem though. We can deal with the villains no problem."
"Its better to know what the three strongest villains are like." Aria noted.
"Thats true." the two Zoldycks admitted. Assassin to the bone.
"Thank you." Aria cracked a smile, "So first theres a guy who is a portal-"
"I've seen worse." Killua joked.
"He is more like Uber transfer. Not much to say about him."
"Uber transfer?"
"Yeah I guess you guys wouldn't know much about it."
"Geez, you sound like a cranky old lady Aria."
Aria looked ready to strangle him on the spot, but she sucked in a deep breath and continued, "He is basically intangible anywhere except for his metal neck thingy."
"Metal neck thingy." Kalluto repeated.
"You'll know it when you see it," Aria shrugged, "Then there's this blue haired kid who can disintegrate anything if he gets five fingers on it. Tomura Shigaraki."
"That is a sick ability." Killua noted.
"And then," Aria continued, ignoring Killua's comments, "there is a big bulky bird-"
At this point every shot her a confused look, Aria cringed a bit, "Okay I know its weird, but thats what's going to happen!"
"Are we supposed to prepare for this somehow?"
"No. I just want you to know. And DON'T kill the Nomu."
"The what?"
"The bird."
"Don't kill the bird." Killua nodded.
Aria's eye twitched, "You know what? Lets go to the red gate."
"Now?"
"NOW."
For the rest of the day the checked out every amusement in Japan. Alluka was the most interested, and the boys would never admit it but they were pretty hooked too. Aria always wanted to visit some places, but she only had one mission and that was in a fantasy world.
The glass castle could only do so much.
They bought some more clothing and Aria went grocery shopping. She bought a lot of cupcakes. Nobody complained.
They came home and she cooked for them.
The next few day, they settled into their training. While Alluka learnt Nen from Aria and Killua, everyone else cruised through their classes. For the most part, Aria avoided Bakugo.
Then when the time came, they got on the bus for their trip to fight giant buff chicken men.
