walking down the hall, clarity could see jordan and jonathan at jon's locker. she smiled as she cheerfully walked up to them, "hi ya boys!" the boys turned to her and her face fell, seeing jordan's face all beat up was not something she expected, not at all.

"oh my god, what happened to your face?" jordan started at her, "um.." clarity stepped closer, "did you get beat up on your way home or something?" "we were running plays this morning in the front yard, and i juked him, and he tripped and fell," jonathan said, saving his brother.

clarity stared at jordan for a few seconds, "well, i hope you do better at tomorrow's game. i quit cheerleading and i'd hate to go all the way to metropolis just to see you eat shit." "you quit?" "yeah, i don't like thinking lowly of my friends parents and lana was getting to, what's the word, hounding." jordan smiled, "but you're still coming?"

clarity nodded, "uh, yeah. i wanna come and root for you," she paused, then turned to jonathan, "and you of course, jonathan." "oh no need to worry, i won't be hurt that going just to support my brother," jon smiled. clarity shook her head as she smiled, "i'm going to root for both of you, jordan and jon. we're friends, are we not, jon?"

and with that she walked away, waving at jordan before turning around. she wished she kept herself from turning back around to take another glance at the boy, he looked in pain as the bell rang. she began to worry, she knew something was going on, but of course they wouldn't tell her that.

for clarity the game was stressful, the metropolis boys were kicking their smallville ass. she watched as jordan was put in, she sat there with her fingers cross, praying that nothing would happen to him.

she knew all about how the boys back in metropolis used to bully jordan, luckily for him, he had jonathan, who used to at least help him out. when it came down to the game, jordan did nothing, he got put in and just stood there. it worried clarity, he looked in pain, he kept grabbing at the sides of his helmet.

jack could sense the worry rolling off of her, he slipped his hand into hers and gave it a squeeze, "i'm sure he's fine." "i hope so, i don't like seeing jordan in so much pain."

clarity began to cheer as she saw that jonathan was put in, "let's go jonathan! woo! come on jordan!"

jordan tackled number 55 from the other team, meaning that jonathan was able to throw the ball to his teammate and score. clarity stood up, "let's go smallville!" "which is it that you like?" andie had been excited for this game the whole week. clarity blushed as she looked over at andie, "we'll we're kind of going out, i mean it's not official. jordan kent, number 24." "ahh, so you're cheering for him and his brother." "well, yeah they're both my friends."

clarity watched as clark called jordan over, man did she wish she had super hearing because from the looks of it, clark looked mad and jordan looked like he was a bit sad about something. clarity looked over at jack and andie, "i think football might be my favorite sport."

the crows were now in the lead and there were only 27 seconds left. they broke and instead of the metropolis boys actually playing, all but two of them tackled jordan. jonathan sccored a touchdown, but the metropolis boys were piled on top of jordan. clarity stood up, "what the hell is wrong with these boys." "assholes." jack shook his head as he glared at the kids on the opposite team.

soon the smallville boys were trying to help jordan. it was a whole fight. clarity squeezed jack's hand, "i'm going down there, i just wanna make sure he's okay." she ran down the bleacher and waited for them near the fence. as they made their way over, clarity met jordan's eyes, "oh thank god, you're okay. i saw it happening and i was like, god those assholes, if i could i would beat them up myself, but uh, i'm only one girl and i don't have super strength like some people."
