No-ones POV:

Candlelight danced in the comforting campsite. Children played whilst the adults chatted. The forest felt silent yet talking could be heard. Trees were still and the moon was bright, giving the area a mysterious looking glow.

The Artemis family were born taming dragons which made them extremely un-invited in most of the kingdoms. This left them without a permanent place to live. Instead they have a campsite to call home. They had to move around everytime the kingdoms came looking to kill them, but as long as they had a place to live, they were happy.

Sitting on a log, a girl with raven brown hair, read her book peacefullyt by the fire. Zydia Artemis was the oldest child, and the only daughter of the group which made her a little further away than the others.

As the time flew by, it started to get later in the campsite making people retire to their tents. Getting tired, Zydia did the same and drifted into a light sleep.

------

Clink. Clink. Stirring awake in the middle of the night, Zydia started to hear a weird clinking sound. The sound of metal bouncing on concrete. Trying to ignore the sound, Zydia closed her eyes and attempted to slip back into a peaceful sleep. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get rid of the noise travelling into her ears.

Tying her hair into a ponytail, Zydia un-tied the rope keeping the tent door closed and stepped outside into the windy forest. Her feet crunching on the leaves beneath her, she perched on the same log she had been sitting on earlier. She was finally relaxed until the same clinking sound re-started out of no-where, only this time she could see where it was coming from. There was a key. It was laying there on the floor almost calling out for her to pick it up.

The key was a whitish-silver colour, with shimmering gold edges wrapped in the thinnest vines anyone had ever seen. Zydia felt weirdly drawn to this beautiful piece of metal, it was almost as if she could'nt control herself from going over to inspect it.

She slowly moved her way towards the key and gently picked it up. She grazed her emerald green eyes over the eerie object and stared at its beauty.

Snapping her out of her dreamy trance, the noise of someone walking up to her made her jump and turn around.

"is everything okay Zydia?" her father whispered, studying her startled expression.

Taking a deep breath and clearly relaxing Zydia murmured a 'yes father' and headed bach to her tent. She was scared yet intruiged at what this key would uncover and she set it in her mind that she would find out; but as for now Zydia knew she needed to keep this hidden.

Merlin's POV:

Hooves clopped against the dry dirt of the woods as I cantered along. Rain spat through the air like embers while the trees clashed together. I was on my way to the Artemis druid camp to seek out my oldest and best friend, Zydia.

Word had gotten out in Camelot that the king was heading in the direction of the druid camps, and I wanted to make sure they had moved in time. The king was searching for a Kingdom- which I can't remember the name of- to search for something that was stolen centuries ago, and I just happen to be his servant. I don't particulary like going behind his back like this, but I need to save my friends. I'm used to doing these sort of things, because I have a destiny. One that nothing could top no matter how important. I just hope I can get to my destination in time.

Deer scuttled behind the bushes every five minutes and squirrels dashed up trees. I'm so glad Arthur isn't here as I know it would be these animal's last day. Apart from that, the woods were empty with nothing but flowers and herbs to view. It was sunrise meaning I had just less than a day to reach the camp.

'We can do it' I whispered, not aimed at anyone in particular, though I wasn't sure there was any truth to my words. I wish there was a way I could convince Arthur that whatever he was looking for, isn't worth it but he insisted as he wanted to honor his father by completing the one task Uther couldn't.
