YESEUL sprinted to catch up with Si Woo's retreating figure, her long jet hair hitting her back harshly in the process. A half - peeled potato was in her hand waiting for the sharp knife to touch it's yellowish body again.

"Are you really going to the fabric store?" she asked as an incredulous gasp escaped her mouth."Didn't mother ask you to peel the potatoes with me?"

"I will be back soon." Si Woo pressed her lips together, looking back to meet her younger sibling's eyes while pulling out her white sneakers out of the shoe cupboard.

"Don't you dare visit them! I will inform mom if you do so."she warned as she put her hands on her hips, forehead creased. Yeseul looked funny, her small figure barely looking intimidating. However, she was a little devil in disguise.

"Why should I listen to someone younger? Don't use your blackmailing skills on me. Go and watch the telivision instead." Si Woo said as she sat down on the big armchair to fix her shoelaces, completely unbothered about being exposed. It wasn't the first time that she was being threatened by her sibling.

"C'mon Si Woo, how much are you going to splurge this time? This hard earned money is less already. We aren't having much customers lately. I could have watched the telivision but here I am!  Peeling vegetables."she whined like a mature child-woman.

"I did a part time job. It's not from the noodle shop." Si Woo rolled her eyes seeing how dramatic her sister was being. "It's not that we are bankrupt or something. Business is going on pretty well if you observe carefully."

"Sure." Yeseul rolled her eyes.

"Where's she going?" the burning question from her mom came as she entered the room, her pink apron loosely tied against her body frame.

"Mom, I am going to the fabric store."

"No, you're not going anywhere."

"I am in dire need of clothes. Please let me go. I will back in a few." she implored trying her best to make her eyes look desperate enough.

"It's a no. You are not going anywhere, Lee Si Woo. You will stay back at home and help us out. Do not use that pathetic excuse. You have a wardrobe full of clothes. No woman owns more than ten dresses."

"But mom, Ji Hee has tons. I have never seen her repeat her clothes." she whined."I can't wear the same thing every week. It's just one dress for her birthday party at Seoul. I even worked a part time job for that. You know that I have a thing for this particular shop."

"Ji Hee comes from a rich family. You don't, so stay back and provide a helping hand. This is no age to rebel. You are being too much these days. Are you five or something? A few days ago you brought that stray cat home without informing me. I even allowed you to keep it."

Si Woo sighed. There was no way she would be allowed to go out that day. Her mom knew that bringing up the cat would put a tape on her mouth. She was not ready to risk that innocent creature for a dress. It could injure itself again.

"Get the clothes washed before I come back to check on you two again. I want you to utilise your time instead of doing something foolish. Be useful if you wanna stay under this roof." she instructed as she left them alone to serve the customers outside.
