(the euphoria you experience
when you are first falling in love)

28th October, 2021

LEE SI WOO could've sworn that she was done with everything that had to do with her roommate, Na Bitna. When she reached her dorm room, everything was in a mess. She, after the night of hanging out with Seo Woo, was tired and the long bus journey didn't help it get any better.

Bitna was on the couch, sleeping like a sloth. Her hair was dishevelled (actually the term 'bird's nest' suits it better) and her shorts had spots of dried ketchup sprinkled on them. Cans of booze was lying on the floor, drops of spilt alcohol colouring the white marble floor. And most importantly, it smelt like some stinky sanitary landfill. She could even spot packets of chips and her cherished mayonnaise bottle peeking from the corner of the sofa.

Must have been having the time of her life while she was missing. Well, she had already been chewed out by the authorities for the drama. Out of all things, she had texted them after midnight to explain about her sudden disappearance.

Si Woo tip-toed her way towards the sofa, trying her best not to place her feet on the spilt alcohol which were covered by her favourite blue Doraemon socks. Soaked socks were detestable. She stood infront of the huddled up figure of Bitna and cleared her throat loudly only to receive soft snores from her side as response.

"Na Bitna." she called and shook her figure violently causing the later to get up in surprise, almost immediately. Bitna stared at Si Woo for a while and then rubbed her eyes which were a show of eye bags and smudged eyeliner. She looked so genuinely lost that Si Woo had to wonder whether she was back to the world yet.

"Goodmorning, sweetheart. Had some fun yesterday, I hope?" said Si Woo curtly, crossing her arms against her chest.

"Oh my, Si Woo. What a pleasure to see you!" Bitna yawned, unbothered about the crease on Si Woo's forehead. She streched her hands and scratched her scalp, causing the entangled hair mass to get molded into an even more complicated structure. Parts of her tresses stuck out from the high bun which merely held a handful of her hair. Anyone would freak out if they were shown how the great Bitna looked like when the tiniest amount of booze Reacher her stomach.

"Was there some hurricane that happened when I was gone? How did this room end up like this?" Si Woo tried her best to not raise her voice as she eyed her roommate sharply.

"Oh, I had called few of the junior girls of the dorm over last night. I was bored without you. You had disappeared, anyway. " She pouted and then proceeded to release a big yawn.

"So you could bully them? Or were you planning how to dress up for my funeral of I actually died somehow?" Si Woo rolled her eyes.

"Of course not. I adore them. I am not part of the ragging bunch of seniors. You are a junior yourself. Have I ever bullied you? I don't even protest about you calling by my name. Where are your manners, kid?"

"I do that because we are of the same age. Don't exaggerate."

"Mhm." Bitna hummed as she got up and hugged Si Woo tightly. "I missed you. A lot, actually. Why are you two days late, huh? The authorities were concerned so bad. Did you perhaps get kidnapped?"

"Obviously it's a no. I was just caught up with some work." Si Woo winced in her embrace.

"I am glad. I'm so glad that you're back, safely." Bitna spared her and looked straight in her eyes.
