Two Missing Daughters

Chapter 56

May 1918

Its so boring here like i said we do the same things over and over again and im getting tired of it. I hopped out of my bed and fixed it after a long nap. Remember how i said i was going to take a 'quick nap' before dinner? No it was a long three hour nap.

I looked at the window and find Olga sitting next to it while reading a book.

"Thank God your finally awake" she puts the book back in the table. "I was waiting for you to wake up"

"Yeah im just very tired" i rubbed my eyes. "Well lets go sleepy head dinner is ready" She puts her arm around my back as we walked to the dining area.

We sat down and waited for the food to be served. I waited impatiently and began to shake my legs anxiously. "Are you still sleepy?" Tatiana mutters. I looked at her and nodded my head. I suddenly felt a pinch in my arm, I flinched as the tiredness in me flows away. "Now are you awake?" She chuckles.."yes yes dont do it again" i said as i sat up straight.

Dinner has served, obviously it was the same thing again. I sighed and started to eat my food. I actually didn't eat it, i played with it. I didn't have the motivation to eat its getting so boring tasting the same thing over and over  again. "Finish your food" The guard looks at me. I sighed and began to start really eating my food.

I finished eating and stood up and walked back to our room until i was stopped by a strong grip on my arm. "Do the laundry before you go to bed" he whispers as he letted me go.

I walked to the laundry area. Its smells really disgusting the smell made me want to barf.

"Aren't you supposed to be in bed?" I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around and it was Vasily. I ran ang gave him a tight hug.

I pulled back and gave him a little smile. "I thought you were left behind in Tobolsk" i say to him.

"Well i couldn't leave you right" he smiles as he putted his hands at my cheeks.

"Stop before someone see's us!" I pulled back his hands and returned to doing the laundry.

He wraps his arms around my waist and placed his head on my shoulder. "I missed you so much" he mutters.

"Me too but please stop" i demanded. He stops and gave me a little kiss on the cheek. "Allow me to do this, go get rest." He says.

I opened my mouth to protest but he hushed me and says, "Good night". I sighed and walked to me and my sister's room.

I sat on my bed and turned on my lamp and opened my book and started reading while humming a song.

"With the Saints, give rest o Christ" a word escaped from my lips. My eyes widened as i realized what i just said. What has gotten into me to say that? No no we are not dying please my Lord may we live longer.

Olga walks in and collapses to her bed. "Whats wrong?" I ask her.

"Im tired and im so full" she puts her hand in her stomach.

"Well go stand to burn up the fat" i advised.

"Seriously? I just said im tired" she sassed.

"Where are the others?" I ask.

"They're all still eating" she answers with her eyes shut.

I continued to read as i hummed a song again.
