I sit in my room waiting for the day to be over.
Knowing that he will have to let me out in the morning.

I decide to go to sleep early and as I get ready I hear someone outside the door.

"I can hear you. Come out." I walk up to the door.

Aiden comes out.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I came to check on you and I thought out could use someone to talk to." Aiden answers.

"I don't see why. You are loyal to my dad. That means you need to know where I am, and seeing as he has quite literally locked me in here he knows exactly where I am."

"Like I said we could talk." He smiles and sits down.

"I'm not doing to the whole bonding thing. No matter how hard you try I will never give in. We will never be friends." I turn around and walk towards my bed.

"And why is that." He stands back up and leans again the door frame.

"Because there can never be any trust between us. Why try if I know how it's going again, that would make me insane."

"First of all, you can trust me. Second of all how would that ne insane?"

"It's the definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over gains but expecting different results." I crawl into my bed.

"But we have never been friends before, so you can't be repeating anything."

"That's what you think. Now leave, and that isn't an option."

Aiden leaves and I settle down into my bed and sleep.

I wake up in the morning to the beeping and beeping of my alarm.

I roll and rub my eyes. I get ready and start banging on the entrance and yelling.

Minutes later Morrell comes and breaks the circle.

I walk down the stairs, and see all three of them standing there waiting for me.

"Rosalind you will be going with the twins, and you will always be with the twins other then when you are active in class." My dad looks me in eyes.

"Fine. I'm driving." I steal the keys for Ethan's hands.

"Nope. I can actually know how to drive a bike, and uh oh yeah your 15. You can't even drive a car." Ethan walks towards me, and I walk back.

"Rosalind give him the eyes." Deucalion demands.

I toss Ethan the keys and roll my eyes.

"Do not roll your eyes at me young lady!" My dad shouts.

The twins and I head out the door and I sit behind Ethan.

"Hold on." He says looking back at me.

I awkwardly wrap my arms around his stomach not knowing where else to put them.

We drive to the school and when we get there I see Rebekah and run right over.

Three girls come up to us.

"Who are you? What do you want?" I ask.

"I'm Caroline Forbes."

"Bonnie Bennett."

"Elena Gilbert. We are just here to tell you that you shouldn't be friends with her. She's dangerous and we don't want you to get hurt."

"Don't worry I'm not the one in danger right now." I reply.

"Is that a threat?" Caroline asks.

"A threats not a threat if you can't follow through, so let's keep the conversation in the way it's going and you'll find out." My eyes shift from girl to girl.

I can feel the twins coming up behind me.

"Is that them." Rebekah whispers to me.

"What do you think Bex." I look at her.

"Fair. I should get to class."

"Take me with you." I say as she walks away.

Elena and Caroline push past me on their way to the twins.

"Hi, I'm Elena and this is friend Caroline. Seeing as you're new here is you need any help we're here."

"I'm Aiden and this is my brother Ethan."

I look over their shoulders.

"We should be getting to the office but if you want to stay here I can go alone." I say hoping they want to stay.

"We're ok." Ethan states.

We go to the main office and get our class schedules.

I go to my first class, Science.

I walk in and see a seating chart projected on the board.

I find my seat and sit down.

"Hello class. My name is Mr. Harris. I will be your science teacher this year and maybe in the future depending on what sciences you take. In this class we will be doing a lot of partner work so we are going to start off with a couple ice breakers. First you are going to tell each other your names and three facts about you."

"Hi, I'm Liam. I am on the lacrosse team-"

I cut him off, "Look I don't care what you like or what sport you play or your sexual activity. Honestly I barely care what your name is, let me explain to you how this is going to work. My name is Rosalind and we can do the little assigned school projects together but I don't like you and you can't make me interested in anything you have to say. I probably won't be here long so let's just get through this."

"Um, ok. What do you want to do for the other ice breakers that he is going to do." Liam looks away from me.

"I don't care, go text your friends or whatever you want to do. As long as you leave me out of it." I take my phone out and text Rebekah.

She doesn't reply but I can understand I've been told that some teachers take your phone as you walk into the classroom.

We spend the whole class doing ice breakers and when it's over I go to history.

Yes, I know these first chapters are boring and probably will be boring for a little while but please stick with me. I promise they will get better once we get past the exposition of the book.

Hope you liked it anyway, thank you for reading.
