Rosalind's POV

I wake up and see 57 text messages from Rebekah. I don't read a single one.

I hear a knock on the door and get up to get it.

"Hey." I can tell Aiden wants to say more, but doesn't want to upset me.

"Look, if you wanna talk, then talk. If all you want to do is bite your tongue, you can do that somewhere else." I walk back over to me bed, leaving the door open. "But whatever you do, leave or stay, close the door." I don't look up and hear the door close. I assume he left, but then I feel him sit down on the bed.

"Are you ok? And I mean emotionally, Rebekah's blood healed you right up physically."

"As good as I can be with everything that just happened." I lay down and Aiden lays down next to me. "Do you have to be this close?"

"I just thought that because of what you went through you would want someone next to you."

"I was tied to chair. I think I want some space."
Aiden moves back a couple inches. "Do you wanna talk about it?" He says slowly.

"Not really. I just wanna lay here."

"I think you should talk about it. You may not think so but talking will make you feel better. I promise."

"You promise, because that changes everything." I say sarcastically. We both laugh.

"Maybe you just need to laugh." He reaches over me and grabs the remote.

"So what are you putting on?"

"Anything you want, with limits." He pauses. "Actually it would be better if I choose."

"Why can't I? It's my TV!"

"Because you look you have bad taste in movies."

"I do not!"

"Just shut up and watch."

"It's called Bridesmaids."

"Doesn't sound like something you would watch." I laugh.

"Shush your judgment."

"What does that even mean?"

We watch the movie and it was better then I excepted. I liked it, and it did make me feel better.

"See you liked it." He looks at me.

"Your right, I did. What do we do now?"

"So I get to stay in the room of Rosalind." He fake gasps.

"Very funny."

"I know I am." He laughs, and I roll my eyes.

"We should get out of house. Just walk around somewhere, in the woods."

"Why the woods?"

"It's calm. Peaceful. I feel a connection to it." I start to climb out the window. "Are you coming or not?" I jump out.

"I think we should tell your dad."

"If we have to. I'll climb back up."

I climb up and we head downstairs.

"Dad! Aiden and I are going to walk around in the woods."

"Ok sweetie have fun. Don't get hurt."

"When do I ever." Aiden and I laugh.

We walk out to the woods and explore the woods. The trees, bushes, the little caves that are probably used as dens. I can see some people laying down in the grass, we walk up to join them. Once we get closer we see that they are dead bodies, arranged just like the ones I found on the full moon. We head home and I go straight up to my room and lock the door.

"Hey Rosalind, are you ok?" Aiden tries to open the door.

"Yeah. I'm fine." He breaks the handle. "What the fuck!"

"What are you doing!"

"Nothing! Just leave."

He comes over and looks over my shoulder. "This isn't the first set of bodies you found is it."

"No, and I want to find out why, and who."

"So you already know the what."

"Yup." I am careful not to disclose too much information.

"I can help. I am quite good at this sort of stuff." He comes in closer.

"Ugh. Your not going to stop until I let you help, are you?"

"Not at all." He smiles.

"Fine but you can't tell anyone. Even Ethan. You need to promise."

"Ok. I promise. So what do you have."

"I think they are sacrifices. They are have been in sets of three so far. Meaning someone is trying to do some dark magic."

"It's could be emissaries. They use power."

I think about it for a minute. "That's actually a good idea, other then the fact that an evil on is called a darach. The only problem is that the only one alive is Morrell, and she wouldn't do this."

"Maybe one of our past ones are still alive somehow."

"Or brought back from the dead."

"How is that possible?" Aiden asks.

"Just trust me, and if it is what I think. Then we are all in trouble, so watch your back. Any new ideas we put them here so everything is in one place."

"Is there anything more we could do."

"Yeah. Fix the door handle on my door!"

"Oh yeah, sorry about that."

He fixes the door and leaves.

I spend the rest of the night trying to figure something else out, but I know that it's not over, and there will be a lot more bodies.

Sorry this one is a little short but the next one might be a little longer so it kinda balances out. I hope you like this one, relationship evolution.
