Aiden's POV:
I get back Deucalion's house and walk upstairs. I walk past Rosalind's room but when I peek in she looks like she needs to be alone. Not to mention that even if I wanted to help her, the thing she wants help with I can't do. Sometimes it's just best to leave things alone.

I get a text from Ethan telling me the Deucalion wants to talk to us.

I head back downstairs and see them both waiting in the living room.

"How did it go with Lydia." He asks.

"It went well. She wants to see me again this weekend." I smile, hoping that's a good enough answer.

"Perfect. I think that it would be best for Rosalind to find something active to do. With the both of you, so that we know where she is but she gets to get out of the house and be active in the school."

"So we will be staying here for a while?" I question.

"Yes, I believe so. The person I want isn't ready to accept what I have to offer. Do you know what to do with Rosalind after school?"

"There is a cross country practice. It is a no cut team and tomorrow is the first day." Ethan answers.

"Being her to that after school then bring her back home. Do you understand?"

"We do." Ethan and I say at the same time.

We both leave.

Rosalind's POV

When I wake up in the morning I get dressed and see Morrell break the seal. "Make sure to pack something story of after school."

"Why?"

"You'll find out."
Technically she answered the question but in a way that helps me, then she just walks away.

I go downstairs with my extra bag.

"Why do I need something sporty?" I love my eyes from one to next, never looking at one for more than two seconds.

"The twins will be taking you to a cross country practice after school today and for a little while."

I focus my eyes on my dad. "Why?"

"To get you out of the house and active in general and in the school."

"What's the point. We'll just leave in a couple of weeks."

"Do what I say, and don't ask questions."

Today I ride with Aiden, and he doesn't stop talking. I don't pay attention to a single word he's saying but his voice is so annoying.

We get to school, and I go straight to Rebekah.

"Are you still grounded?"

"Yes, and now my dad is making he go to some stupid cross country thing after school with the twins."

"I'll come with you, and the twins aren't that bad. Their hot."

"Ew, Bex. All I have to say is ew." We start walking towards the school.

"So met any cute boys?" She pushes her shoulder into mine.

"No. I never do and I never will."

"Come on. You can't live your life with no one in it."

"I have you, are you no one." I smile.

"That's not what I mean, and you know it."

"Of course I do."

We both go our separate ways. Rebekah to English and I to science.

"Can we-" I cut Liam off.

"What I said last time still hold up. Don't think that I'm going to change because it's a different day. I will never change and neither will our relationship, if you can even call it that."

"Einstein once said, "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; And I'm not sure about the universe." I myself have encountered infinite stupidity. So to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments. Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Rosalind , you take the first station. You'll start with - I didn't ask for volunteers. Put your hormonal little hands down. Start with Mr. Gilbert. All right, next two."  Mr. Harris says.

"Hi. I'm Jeremy."

"Elena's brother right."

"Yes, actually do you know her?"

"You could say that. I'd he better than your sister. She's the person you want to be like."

I mix up the first part of the lab.

"Switch."

"I don't want to talk."

The girl nods and we both do out part.

After switching for I don't even know how long.

"Time. If you've catalyzed the reaction correctly, you should now be looking at a crystal. Now for the part of that last experiment I'm sure you'll all enjoy - You can eat it." Me. Harris states.

I pick up the crystal and take a bit. It tastes good, sweet.

The bell rings and we all leave.

"Rosalind! Wait!" Someone yells but I don't listen. "Hey! Can we talk."

"Sorry I have other classes to do. I don't have time for your stupid conversation."

"Look, I don't know how many times your parents dropped you on your head, but that doesn't give you the right to act like you do."

"Was that your whole speech, telling my that you don't like the way I act. If it was then oh my god I'll change, for you." I turn around and see Jeremy.

He drops his eyes. "All I'm saying is that you have been here for what? 2 days. You know nothing about my sister, and you can't talk about her like that. You can't talk about anyone like that."

"Oh on! Did I hurt your feeling. I'm sorry that changes everything. I will think next time." I roll my eyes and head off to English.

Sorry I haven't posted in a little while school was a little busy so I didn't have a lot of time, but here is the next part. I hope you enjoyed it.
