Rosalind's POV

I wake up in Aiden's and my room, and my head is pounding. I groan. As soon as I do I see Ethan, Aiden, and Rebekah come running in. They look at me and it's weird, like they're looking at a ghost.

Rebekah come and sits next me, pulling me into a hug. "I'm so sorry about everything. I should have tried to control Kol. That shouldn't have happened to you. If I knew I would have stopped it." She says in a fast paced tone.

"Woah, slow down. Why the sudden change in emotions?"

"You mean you don't remember?" Aiden asks.

"What am I missing here." I sit up and rest my head on the backboard.

"Rosalind, you died." Ethan says calmly.

"Ha, ha. Very funny." I roll my eyes.

"He's serious Rose."

"Then how am I alive right now?"

"That's what we're figuring out, and I'm sorry about everything I said to your dad. I shouldn't have done that."

"Rose, come with me. I want to check and see if your in transition. I don't think you are, but I just want to make sure because different work through that amount of blood at different times."

"Ok." Rebekah and I walk away and into the bathroom.

"Look at me." I do what she says. "And how at the light." Nothing happens. "Focus on the lightbulb, what do you hear."

"Nothing."  We leave the bathroom and back to the beds.

"She's not in transition, but I have no idea why she isn't dead. She should be."

"I just want to go home. I don't want to be here anymore." I say.

"I can take her home with me." Rebekah says.

"That works with us, but be careful because we can't come." Ethan looks at Rebekah.

"Why can't we?" Aiden steps closer.

"Because we have to stay here, and we don't want to overwhelm her with people right now." Ethan says and I can tell I am not apart of this conversation, other than the concept of me.

"I would actually rather be alone." I insert myself.

"That's not happening. I'm not going to let anything happen again." Aiden almost yells.

Rebekah picks me up,  and vamp speeds us back to her house.

"Rosalind are you sure you're ok?" She puts me into her bed.

"I'm fine. I just don't remember anything after getting on the bus after Isaac beat up Ethan."

"What is the little insect doing here?" Kol leans against the door.

"Stay out of this Kol." Rebekah doesn't look at him.

"But I didn't get to finish before."

Rebekah vamp speeds and pins him to the wall. "Look, I didn't do well last time you had her, but that won't happen this time. You are going to leave her alone and if you don't, I will get Nik to give me a dagger and I will dagger you for the next five hundred years." She pauses. "Do you understand." Kol rolls his eyes. "Do. You. Understand." Pausing in between each word.

"Yes." He says and she lets go. Kol walks out of the room and I can hear him going down the stairs.

"I'm sorry about that, but I will control him from now on."

"That's ok. I just kind of want to go to sleep."

"But you just died."

"Ironic right."
