I get dressed and sneak out the window. I run down to the end of the street and a block more to where Rebekah is picking me up.

She pulls up and I get into the car.

"It is so good to see you Bex. Also getting out of the house is nice." I laugh.

"I will try to keep you away for as long as possible. I understand an controlling family." She starts the car and we drive off.

"So where are we going?" I ask.

"Remember how I told you I could only do something after lunch." She pauses and waits for some sort of response, I nod my head, "I have a little I guess family meeting. I don't quite know what to call it. Then after that finishes I though we could go to mall before your first day of school."

"Sounds great but I have one question. What will I do while your some what family meeting?"

"I don't see why you wouldn't be able to come, and if not you can go up to my room and wait there."

Rebekah continues to drive and in 10 minutes you are at her house.

"I think you should let me go in first. To get them used ti the idea before you come rushing in." Rebekah gets out of the car, and goes into the house while I wait outside.

A few minutes later Rebekah comes outside and tell me I can stay.

"Everyone this is Rosalind. My best friend." Rebekah puts her arm around me.

"Hi." I smile at her.

"She's a werewolf. Really Rebekah! You brought a werewolf into the house." One of them says in cockney British accent.

"I'm not just any werewolf." I reply looking straight him, "Next time you want to talk about me, talk to me. Don't pretend like I'm not here."

"This one has a mouth on her." Another says.

I flash my red eyes at him.

"Niklaus, what type of werewolf has red eyes?" He says again.

"I have no clue." The last one speaks. I am guessing that one is Niklaus.

The first one takes a couple steps towards me.

"Two more steps and I'll bit you." My claws flick out, "I'm still learning control."

"All of you stop fighting." Rebekah jumps in.

"Why would I ever trust a wolf." He speaks again.

I look away from the one in front of me and over a Niklaus, "What color are your eyes? Blue I'm guessing."

"No. They're yellow, why would they be blue. Why are your red?" Niklaus answers.

"I doubt that you have never killed anyone. You clearly know nothing about werewolves."

"No I don't. Why don't you fill me in. Starting with the different eye colors." He bargains.

"Fine. They symbolizes your role in the pack. In a normal pack. My pack-or I guess really my dads pack is a little different."

"Go on. What does each mean exactly?"

"Yellow means beta. Blue also means beta, but it is a beta that has taken an innocent life. Lastly red means alpha."

"That doesn't make any sense. I have met many werewolves and all of them have yellow eyes. Another thing you have to kill to become a werewolf." Niklaus is confused.

"Obviously that's not true. My eyes are red, to be fair I really haven't met any yellow eyed werewolves, but there is a reason for that. Also I have never killed."

One of them circles me. "It smells and looks just like a werewolf but it's not. It's something else."

I push him away. "Get away from me!"

"I wonder what it is." He says again.

I turn to Rebekah. "I would loved to spend the day with you, but I should go. This is all to much. I'll see you tomorrow, and I swear if you even think about the twins we will have a problem."

"Come on Rose. They're identical twins, how can I not."

"Rebekah."

"Ok. Ok. I won't."

"Thank you." I walk towards the door, when one of them vamp speeds in front of the door.

"You are not going anywhere until I figure out what you are."

"Kol! Let her leave." Rebekah comes to try and get him out of my way.

So Kol is the one that has the problem with me. That leaves one.

I get a call from my dad and I ignore it.

"Bex, you will need to drive me. My dad just called, which means he knows I'm gone."

"Like I said you are not going anywhere." Kol repeats.

"I am werewolf whether you believe me or not. Here's a DNA sample." I rip out a strand of my hair and out it in his hand.

I push my way out of the door and instead of taking the car, Rebekah vamp speeds me back to my house. She puts my down and leave.

I climb up into my room and see my dad sitting on my bed with the twins standing behind him.

"And where did you go young lady?" He asks.

"I just went for a walk." I lie trying to slow my heartbeat the best I can.

"She's lying." Ethan says.

So that's why they're here. They are here so listen to my heartbeat to see when I lie so that my dad can focus on other things.

"I will ask you again. Where were you?"

I try and slow it down now, so that when I do lie it is at normal pace.

"She's going to lie." Aiden talks this time.

"I didn't even say anything!" I yell.

"Your heartbeat slowed down, meaning you were getting ready to lie. It would have been smart if it worked." Aiden smiles.

I growl.

"Rosalind!" Deucalion yells. "You are grounded. You are not leaving this room. The only time you will leave is with Ethan and Aiden at school where they will be with you the whole time." All three of them walk out of the room.

"What's stopping me from leaving." I ask.

"I was hoping you would ask." My dad smiles, and not in a way I like.

Morrell comes and completes the barrier of mountain ash.

"Really!" I yell.

They all walk away without saying anything.

I love the ending of this. Maybe because I wrote it but I like it anyway and I am so excited for the next chapter.
