The Diamond! :D

Lindsey's POV

I managed to lead the only person on Tortuga Archipelago to safety. And then I see something absolutely terrible. Emma's laying on the ground, unconscious. But there was something different about this faint. She hadn't shattered the doomstone. I see the King and Angela running up to me. "What is happening?" She screams. "Lindsey!!!!" The King yells angrily. "Look, I'm sorry. Please get Emma back to your cottage. I can take care of this." I tell them. I run up to the doomstone. It's ginormous. But this should work. I recite a prayer that is supposed to take the power out of a doomstone.

"The prettiest smiles hide the deepest secrets. The most beautiful eyes have cried the most tears. And the kindest hearts have felt the most pain." And then there's a blinding light. The King and Angela stare from afar. This purple gas floats out of the doomstone. It now looks like an oversized diamond. Angela runs over. She chips a piece of it off and puts it in her pocket. I hope Emma is ok... I don't know, but it seems like she's almost in a pain, of the sorts.

Angela's POV

I've seen a lot of crazy stuff in my travels, but nothing compares to what Lindsey just did. I am dumping lots of water on Emma's head but it's not working one bit. Then Lindsey runs over. "Quick, hand me that water!" She yells. I give it to her. And she takes a sip, of all things. Then her fingers turn purplish. And she smacks Emma! "Oww my gosh!" She says when she feels that. "I had to do it." Lindsey says. I can tell she's trying to stifle laughter.

Emma's POV

How long have I been unconscious? "Anybody got Tylenol, I have a migraine." I tell them. That's too true. Angela runs over to the medicine cabinet. Lindsey rushes over. "So sorry, Emma. But what happened? I saw you try to call down stars, but they didn't fall." "Yeah..." I reply. "I don't know what happened." "Maybe the dark aura from the doomstone was too much." Lindsey says. That's not a thought that registered in my head right away. "I wish I'd lead a normal life." Lindsey continues. I notice the King napping on the couch. He's lazy. Angela comes back with pain reliever. She has something else in her hand as well.

Angela's POV

I had to fetch some medicine for Emma. I held that piece of the doomstone close. Maybe this is worth looking at. "Hey guys, look at what I got. It's a piece of the doomstone once the darkness lifted out of it." Lindsey's jaw dropped. But why?

Lindsey's POV

Of course!!!! The diamond for the goddess ship was right under our noses! It looks like a diamond, and couldn't be mined but by a legendary pickaxe!!! "Guys!!!! That's the diamond for the ship!!! I shout. Emma's eyes instantly widen, as if she were taking in this thought. "Of course!" She says. I start jumping around the room laughing and singing like crazy!

Emma's POV

That's one treasure down! Two to go! Lindsey's very happy. I can tell by looking at the swirls of purple around her head. But what am I gonna do if my power is gone? What if she gets upset again and another falls? And I can't stop it? Speaking of which, how did they stop it?
