The Moonlight Ball

Angela's POV

Emma and I got ready, but I can't believe this early! It's 6:00! I slide my desert diva skirt and twilight top to look more... Al Magikk-ish. Emma always wears the same thing- a celestial looking dress with a hood. But I shouldn't be complaining because at least she washes it. I look out the window. Whoa! Lindsey with the Dark Sultan! That seems reasonable. "Emma, come look at this". I say. "Yeah, I know. Weird". She replies. "Maybe she shouldn't tell her we saw this". I say. Emma nods. I jump onto the chair in our room and start reading my book "rocks and gemstones". It's the 2015 edition! Still not much is known about the Dark Heart.

Lindsey's POV

I might of overstayed my time with Damien. It's 6 am! A say a quick goodbye and a thank you, and give him a kiss on the cheek. Then I run back to the house. "No surprise, Emma and Angela are already up and at 'em. "Where were you"? Emma asks. "The library". I reply. Not really! "Ok...." She replies. I grab my apron and start making breakfast. Pancakes for everyone! "Emma, could you go see if the King is awake? If he is, please tell him to come in here and eat". I tell her. She walks out. Angela closes her book and opens The window to let in some sunlight. I flip the pancakes and plop them onto little plates. "Hey, I wonder if Embrr would like to come in here and eat, too"! Angela says. "Why not? Go ask her"! I say. Once the pancakes are ready, I get ready. I decide to try a new look. A purple and white striped shirt, black shorts, and a black leather jacket. I hang my moon talisman around my neck from my old outfit. The door creaks open to our room. Erik, Emma, Angela, and Embrr are here! Why not Damien... Pooey. But whatever. "Breakfast is served"! I yell. "Thank you"! Embrr says, happily grinning at the sight of the pancakes. "Good morning, girls". The King says. "Whoa, a new look! I likey"! Says Emma, looking at my outfit. I smile. Embrr sits down at the table and gets right to business. "Guys, the royalty of Al Magikk formally invites you all to the Moonlight Ball"! She says, giving a little squeal. "What's that"? I ask. "It's the first formal ball that we've ever hosted. I'm so excited"! Embrr replies. "Oooooooooo! With like, fancy dresses, and stuff"? Emma asks, excitedly. "Yes! Embrr yells. She grins. Angela starts fanning herself. "We... Can... Go.... Shopping"! She happily says, breathing hard. "Get it done soon, because the ball is in one week". Embrr tells us. I could of sworn I might of blushed a little during this conversation. A ball gives me a chance to dance with Damien!
