Emma's POV
"Hi Emma!" Lindsey said to me as she walked through the door. "Nice outfit!" "What's that in your hands?" I ask. "Just something I picked up on the way home." "Is it a dress?" I ask. "Yes, actually. I'm gonna go try it on!"
Lindsey's POV
When I put this dress on, it's amazing! I love how the colors mix together like they do. I'm mighty proud of myself for this. Not like I made it.... Anywho... I walk out of the room and run to the mirror where Emma is standing. "How do I look?" I ask her. "Amazing! Hey... Our outfits look similar." "They do, don't they?" I said. "Who cares?" She replys. "Hey, what happened with the testing?" She asks. "It was fine." I say back. I hear somebody walking
outside of my door. "I think you have mail." Emma says. We walk outside to check it.
"Dear Lindsey and Emma, your presence is needed at the royal court.
Erik"
"Ok, we are needed again, all in the same day." Emma says, with a little sarcasm. "Yeah, I just left. Kinda ridiculous". We walk over there, and talk about random stuff-things like why the earth is round, and why birds fly. When we get into the palace, several people are lined up to see the king. "What's going on?" Emma asks. "This is weird." I run up to the royal guard. "We have urgent business to discuss with the king." I say. "You and about 70 other people." He said back to me. "Back of the line!" He says. "Listen mister... We are telling the truth. We have to talk with the king. He summoned us here and if you don't let us in, I will slug you!" I threaten. "O...ok... Please don't hurt me!" He says backing away. "What was that?" Emma asks. "I thought you were gentle." "That's something called force." I say. When we enter the throne room, the king and Dr. Huges where standing before us.Emma's POV
"Ah, yes girls. Please sit down." The king said. "Emma, remember when you freaked out when you found out that you were going to have to face off against the darkness goddess? Well, turns out she's sitting right next to you." My heart skips a beat. LINDSEY?!?! DARKNESS?!?!
"Lindsey, is this true...?" I sutter. I turn to her. Instead of going pale, she's going very red in the face.Lindsey's POV
Ok, I'm good at talking my way out of things, but this is too much. "Yea..." I mumble. "Lindsey!!!! Why didn't you just tell me that?!?!" She yells. I walk to the center of the room. "Ya know what? I'm sick of being known as the "villian." Maybe I just wanted be nice, for once in my life!!! Ever read a story?!?! Heroes always get happy endings. The villains all get banished or something. So I'm the cause of the doomstones. Suck it up and deal with it. You know what? I don't care anymore. I'll shout it to the world. Peace!" I run out of the castle. I bump into a girl with a pink ponytail on the way out. "Sorry!" I say. I run to castle square and flop on the fountain bench and slosh my reflection in the water. "Ugh..." I say.
