This day has never seemed so long. I can't seem to get through my files and all the work I have to do. I feel like my boss is taking great pleasure in adding to my workload, making me feel like I'll never get home. I heard that P'Arthit was the head of the hazing program when he was in college. I'm not even surprised.

Finally, after what seems like ages, I can finally go home. I stretch lazily, before picking up my things. I look around, to see that I am the last one. I turn off the lights, and walk out.

In front of the building, I walk, my eyes half-closed, while my belly is screaming.

- P'... You gave me so much work to do that I couldn't even eat. Oii~ I shouldn't have finished my chips in the afternoon...

I continue to complain out loud, while walking, quite unsure of the route I am taking. No matter, I just want to get home.

- Good thing I have enough to fill your belly on legs then.

I widen my eyes in surprise as I recognize the voice. I turn around to discover, leaning on a black car, Phawin.

- Hia! You're home!

He gives me his famous big smile, before detaching himself from the vehicle. As soon as he stretches his arms, I rush towards him. His laughter welcomes me, and his hand plays in my hair.

- Are you okay, Team?

I nod my head, which is still hidden in his neck. I breathe in his smell, and enjoy his warm body against mine. I hate it when he has to leave for work, but I love it so much to be with him.

I move away from him a little, his hand still in my hair, his eyes looking into mine. I tap him on the chest. He steps back, and grimaces slightly.

- Ouch! Why did you do that? I thought you were happy to see me again!

- Why didn't you tell me when you were coming home?

- If I had told you, it wouldn't have been a surprise, would it?

- But how did you know what time I finished?

He raises an eyebrow, and looks at me, as if the answer is obvious. Then I remember being full at Pharm all day about how much work I had to do, and what time I was going to finish.

- The traitor!

He laughed, and came back to my side. He runs his hand over my shoulders, before placing a quick kiss on my forehead.

- Shall we go home?

I nod again, before remembering a detail. I look up at him, while I'm still pinned against his chest.

- Didn't you say you had food for me?

- Morfal.

Even though he uses a reproachful tone, and slaps my forehead, I can see he is smiling. I am so happy to have him back! A month without him is just too much to bear. He regularly has to compete all over the world. Of course I am proud of him and I always encourage him, I don't want him to give up his career. But falling asleep is more complicated when he is not next to me.

While I had planned to collapse into bed as soon as I got home, I spent the evening glued to my Hia, listening to her tell stories of her competitions. Before I know it, I'm asleep on his shoulder on the couch.

When I wake up the next morning, I find the place next to me empty, and cold. I frown, suddenly afraid that it was all a dream. I get up, before realizing I'm in my pajamas in bed. A noise at the door makes me turn my head, and I see the blond man, leaning against the edge of the door, smiling at me.
