It was as if her whole existence was that of a butterfly - beautiful, carefree, joyful. Then it all fell apart and that beauty, carefree nature, and joy dissipated into the never ending abyss.
Cue the betrayal of a moth.

"We would love to add you to our team, Chisoo," Mr. Seo, the CEO of BLUE, an extremely successful music label, held her hand between his. "You're the next star we've been searching for."
"I would love to," she smiled, then tugged on Sangyeon's hoodie. "But only if my partner can join as well."
The other three labels that wanted her told her that they only wanted her, so she rejected them on the spot, much to their dismay.
BLUE's CEO smiled and shook Sangyeon's hand. "If the two of you are a package deal, then so be it. I'd love to welcome two extremely talented people to the team."
Chisoo clapped and wrapped her arms around Sangyeon's neck, smiling at Haknyeon who was standing behind them for moral support.
"Let me get the paperwork together."
The man left the room, leaving the three of them snd the company's head producer in the room. "You know, Chisoo, you already have quite a presence in this company. You'll be our first female rapper and guitarist, and for Sangyeon, he'll be the first composer and lyricist for a duo. As for the two of you together, you'll be our first co-ed duo. You're setting new bars for the company and I think that's why Mr. Seo accepted your package deal so quickly."
"I'm glad," Chisoo smiled and patted Sangyeon's chest. "I couldn't have done it without him."
"Alright," the door swung open and Mr. Seo sat down. "Let's get this paperwork filled out."
By the time they left BLUE, it was dark and rainy. For once, Chisoo didn't feel threatened by the weather. Instead, she relished in the fact that her dream was becoming reality, and for that, she couldn't complain.
"How does BLUE's first co-ed duo feel?" Haknyeon nudged Chisoo playfully.
"I feel great," Chisoo smiled. "Sangyeon?"
"Very grateful."
Chisoo hummed in agreement and looked forward. She couldn't help but feel complete bliss. She felt so at peace knowing that her and Sangyeon would make it to a spot that they so desperately wanted to be in. It was reassuring to say the least.
"What are you looking at?"
Chisoo snapped out of it at Sangyeon's question. Him and Haknyeon were looking back, so Chisoo did as well. "Is there something back there?"
"I swore I heard Dajung behind us," Haknyeon sighed. "Maybe her crazy is spreading or something."
Chisoo chuckled as she turned back around, only to let out a quiet squeal and jump back. "Dajung, where did you come from?"
"Chisoo," she mumbled, not blinking as the rain that collected on her eyelashes fell. "You're so lucky."
Haknyeon grabbed Chisoo's arm and pulled her away from Dajung. "We're not doing this tonight."
