"We're not shredding these," Dajung put her hand on the stack of papers on her desk, looking at everyone on the newspaper crew. "Thinking about it, it could be a possibility."

"That she killed her family on purpose and somehow made it out alive?" One of the other girls questioned. "I want nothing to do with your conspiracy, Dajung."

Another member hummed and crossed his arms. "But if we go with the story, we could potentially catch a killer?"

The room got quiet as most of the news crew felt baffled. They truly couldn't believe that Dajung was actually accusing Chisoo of killing her family.

"I want to unveil the truth." Dajung said, a hint of blinded determination in her voice.

"Dajung, we are a high school newspaper team," another girl said slowly, wanting the head of the crew to understand her clearly. "The truth is that Chisoo lost her family in a tragic car accident. I repeat, accident."

Dajung shook her head and picked up all of the fliers. "You don't have to be in on it, but I want to go through with this."

Annoyed mumbles echoed through the room. "Whatever, Dajung. You're fighting fire with fire, is all I'm saying."

Chisoo stayed back after school with her brother and Younghoon as they decorated for the freshmen dance that the school would be hosting.

She sat back in a corner with her feet on the table, watching the boys hang up the streamers and set out the table decorations. She remembered when she was a freshmen attending this dance - it was boring, but she somehow remembered having a lot of fun.

"Hey," Sangyeon's voice rang through the gym as he burst through the doors. "I found a bunch of these all over the school."

He made a beeline for Chisoo, and she eyed him the whole time he walked towards her. He handed her the piece of paper he had in his hand, and he was surprised to see her calm aura as she looked at it.

"I told her to shred these," she stood up and headed out of the gym. "Could you throw as many as you can away?"

Sangyeon nodded as she disappeared. Meanwhile, she made long strides to the newspaper room, and her blood boiled a bit when she heard laughing from inside the classroom. She leaned against the doorframe, and the laughing stopped.

"You found them?" Dajung smiled.

"Sure," Chisoo smiled back bitterly. "Which is odd, considering I told you to shred them all."

She cocked an eyebrow. "Are you trying to hide something?"

"Funny," Chisoo bit. "Get rid of them."

"What if I don't?" Dajung continued, pushing back at Chisoo. "Are you gonna kill me?"

Chisoo suppressed a laugh and looked down at her feet. She rolled out her neck and looked back up at the girl she now disliked.

"You and Hayoon are good together," Chisoo told her. "You're both terrible."

Dajung's ego deflated as Chisoo walked away. Was she really being that terrible, or was she doing something worth while?

"I bet you feel real good right now, huh?" One of the news crew members questioned from the other side of the room.

"Whatever," Dajung sighed and perked up. "I'm not afraid of her."

Chisoo rolled her eyes as she listened from outside the door. It sometimes shocked her when she realized just how upside down and crooked the people around her were. Chisoo wasn't even sure what she did to Dajung, but an odd switch happened in her behavior at some point.

She pushed off the lockers and headed back toward the gym, but the three boys were waiting outside the gym doors. "Done already?"

"For the most part. We still have tomorrow." Younghoon said.

"I figured it was a good time to head home," Haknyeon added. "You ready?"

The girl nodded as they began walking towards the school's exit. Younghoon stuck close to Chisoo, looking down at her every now and then to try and get her attention. When she finally looked up, he smiled at her, to which she returned.

Sangyeon noticed this from his peripheral and couldn't help but get that weird feeling in his chest. The feeling where he wanted to know what was going on between Chisoo and another person.

Was it jealousy?

No, it couldn't be. Although, he questioned whether or not it was.

"What did Dajung say?" Haknyeon asked.

"She asked me if I was trying to hide something when I told her to get rid of those fliers she made," Chisoo replied, rolling her eyes. "So that shows you the type of person she is."

Younghoon's hand brushed against hers as he asked, "Is she getting rid of them?"

"Probably not." Chisoo shrugged.

"We threw away as many as we could find," Sangyeon reassured. "If I see anymore throughout the week I'll throw them away."

Chisoo nodded. "Thank you."

But throwing the fliers away wouldn't stop the chaos that they brought with them.
