Alec and Nolan got back to Nolan's house around 20 minutes later. Nolan walked into the kitchen to get drinks while Alec started walking to Nolan's room, just like they'd done a million times before. As Alec was walking, he encountered Nolan's mum, "Hey Mrs. Holloway." "How many do I have to tell you to call me Amanda?" "Sorry Mrs. Ho-Amanda." Alec responded nervously. Amanda chuckled but then said: "I tried setting up the air mattress, but there a hole in it, so that won't work. You could sleep on the couch, but that's rather uncomfortable. I'm sure you and Nolan will figure something out, you're smart kids." "Oh okay, thanks for trying anyway. We'll figure something out." "See you tomorrow morning Alec, have fun!" "Thank you!" and with that, Alec went into Nolan's room and turned on Nolan's tv and Nintendo Switch. Alec wasn't surprised by how clean and tidy it was, he'd been here so many times before yet there was never any sort of mess.

Nolan entered his room and put down two glasses of soda on his desk. Nolan looked around the room with a questioning look and then asked: "Where's the air mattress, my mom said she'd set it up." "Oh she did but it had a hole in it, so we're gonna have to figure out where I'm gonna sleep. I was thinking probably the couch." "You are not sleeping on the couch, it's fine to sit on, but it is terrible for sleeping. Every time I accidentally fall asleep there I wake up with a terrible back ache." "Oh okay, then where do you think I should sleep?" "The bed? Where else?" Nolan answered like it was the most obvious thing ever. "But then where will you sleep?" Alec wondered. "The other side of the bed." "Oh, okay..." Alec said while starting to blush. "But if you think that's weird-" "No, not at all it's completely fine!" Alec interrupted. "What do you wanna play?"

They played for a while before they decided to go to bed. "Uhm... Nolan, do you have a pair of sweats or something I could borrow? I didn't bring anything with me, and I don't really wanna sleep in my jeans." "Uh sure." Nolan answered as he opened his wardrobe. "Here, need anything else?" "No, I'm good, thanks." Alec then climbed into the neatly made bed. Nolan climbed into the other side of the bed and turned off the lamp on the bedside table. "Good night, Alec." "Good night, Nolan" Then they tried to sleep, but they couldn't. Alec couldn't because it was way too hot for him with sweats and a shirt on and Nolan couldn't because Alec kept tossing and turning. "Dude, what's up?" Nolan grumpily asked Alec. "It's way too hot, I can't fall asleep." "How are you hot? It's freezing in here." "I'm a werewolf remember, we run hotter than regular people." "Oh right, then just take off your shirt or something and go to sleep." Alec looked at Nolan, shocked. Thank god it was dark otherwise Nolan would definitely notice how much he was blushing. Alec took off his shirt and then laid back down, still heavily blushing. Alec's thoughts where rushing in his head. He was lying in his crush's bed with him, shirtless, while wearing his crush's sweats. Alec couldn't imagine falling sleep with how much his thoughts were racing, but somehow, he did.

The next morning Alec woke up with something on his chest, he looked down and saw Nolan's head lying on his bare chest. Nolan was cuddling him! Nolan, cute, adorable Nolan, with his pretty blond hair and his light freckles. Perfect, adorable Nolan was cuddling him. Alec didn't want to be weird, but he also didn't want this moment to end, so he put an arm around Nolan, pulled him closer and closed his eyes again. Totally platonic... right? Nolan woke up like 10 minutes later. He was comfortable, he was hugging his pillow, which was warm and felt nice. He then realised it was moving and was very confused. He opened his eyes and saw his 'pillow' was actually Alec's chest. He never realised just how beautiful Alec's body actually was, from his beautiful pecs down to his slight abs. Nolan then looked up and saw Alec sleeping, his gorgeous brown curls falling down his face, slightly above his still closed adorable eyes. He then started blushing, but closed his eyes again, relishing in the nice feeling of cuddling with Alec.

Then Nolan heard his mum calling them: "Nolan, Alec, breakfast!" Nolan sighed, he didn't want to get up, but he had to. He saw Alec had already woken up and then grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom to change. When he was done he saw Alec had already changed as well. They went downstairs and had breakfast. During breakfast both were really quiet and blushing the entire time. "Why are you two so quiet this morning?" Nolan's dad asked. "Uhm... no-nothing." Nolan stammered. His dad chuckled slightly and then said "Yeah, sure" Alec and Nolan both started blushing even more than they already were. "Travis, leave them alone!" Amanda silenced her husband but couldn't prevent a slight chuckle while doing so.

They ate the rest of breakfast in relative silence. After breakfast Alec and Nolan went back up to Nolan's room. They played some more video games, this time playing Mario Kart. Alec was currently winning. "Yes!" Nolan suddenly yelled and when Alec looked at Nolan's half of the screen he saw Nolan had acquired a blue shell. Alec quickly pressed the B button to fall back and get close to Nolan. By the time the shell had reached him and exploded He was close enough to Nolan that he also got hit. "Cheater!" Nolan yelled as he pushed Alec's shoulder. "No, just clever." Alec replied in a snarky tone. "No, you're a cheater, you have way faster reflexes than me. No more werewolf reflexes!" Nolan stated but wasn't actually mad. "I can't just turn them off." Alec laughed.

They played a few more games, Alec winning most of them. Then Alec got a text from Derek telling him to get back to the loft. Alec replied and then told Nolan he should go. Right when he was about to leave he suddenly heard a loud, shrill sound. He fell to the floor because of how much his ears were hurting. Nolan crouched down and looked at his friend in concern. "Alec, what's wrong?! Alec?!" Amanda ran up to them as soon as he heard Nolan screaming. "What's happening?" "I don't know suddenly he just grabbed his ears and fell to the floor screaming. I think something is hurting his ears, but we can't hear it." This one of the moments Nolan is glad he told his parents about the supernatural. The sound seemed to have stopped because Alec let go of his ears, instead just lying there, panting, recovering from the horrible sound. "Alec, are you okay?" Nolan asked, still concerned. "I- I think so, there was an awful sound, it hurt so much. Did you not hear it?" Nolan and Amanda both shook their heads. "No, what did it sound like?" "Loud, shrill, almost like a parrot squawking. It hurt a lot more though." *Ding* Alec grabbed his Phone and looked at the message. "It's Derek, he's telling me to get to the loft immediately, he probably heard the squawk too." Amanda nodded and said: "I'll drive you, don't want you causing an accident if it happens again." Alec nodded, got up and then he and Amanda left.
