It's been a few days and we've discussed different methods of getting in. We were still unsure since we didn't know how his manor was laid out. But all we knew was to gain Phoenix's trust till one day when we're alone, I'd stab him with my dagger. Simple...really.

Killing someone with a dagger was my signature move, especially when I would use my favorite one. The blade was bright silver but the handle was made out of glass filled with gold leaves. The most beautiful dagger I had ever seen. It was given to me by a dear old friend of mine. He's dead now, but I cherished the constant worry that I would too kill him. In the end, I sort of did. But that was only because he didn't make my morning tea right for the 100th time. I may be overdramatic in this case but how long does someone need to remember a few rules.

Anyways, before I would go undercover, we needed to send a few more spies to gather information on how many guards there were and where they would be situated most days, as well as who I could go in as to make sure I would be accepted.

"We have news from one of your spies, Nox," Brea came up to me hesitantly, not wanting to disrupt my evening tea in the garden.

"Ugh, fine. Bring it to me."

"Yes," She turned away and went to grab a letter from our daily mailman. "Here we go." She handed me the letter.

It said,

Dear Ms. Nox,

It's Ryan. Apologies that I couldn't make it to tell you this message in person, but I have gathered information on what you would need to have a successful mission. First of all, there are 10 guards. Two are in the entryway, two near a room where they discuss missions in secret, while the rest are scattered across the manor, moving along the corridors. I heard he missed a lot of spies, so I believe that can be of use for your mission. As well as that not many guards stay awake during the night and that you can easily roam to halls quietly without being seen.

Kind regards,

Ryan.

I placed the letter down on the garden table and called in for Brea and Judy.

"That's it. I will disguise myself as a new spy since he doesn't have many and after a few nights, I stab him after everyone's asleep." I told both of the girls who both look excited and prepared for the near future mission.

"That is a perfect idea Nox," Brea said.

"Indeed it is," Judy slid in.

"Then we should get working now," I stood up and led myself towards the basement.

For a week, we prepared everything. I asked to send a letter to Phoenix's manor, announcing a new spy will come in. I had made a uniform that was usually similar to what spies would wear. It consisted mostly of a black sweater and black pants. The most 'spy' thing a spy could wear. While sharpening my blade against the stone, I learned the placement of each guard. What weapons do they obtain and where do they stand the most?

A few days had passed and I kept ending up falling asleep in the attic. I always enjoyed the view of the stars, so I made sure it had a skylight. When I felt like the world was falling on top of me, yet I liked to be the one on top, I'd come here.

I remember when I was in an All Girls Catholic Orphanage (yes, I have no parents), there was a sort of skylight in the church nearby with stained glass. I would lie and say I would go to the church early in the morning when I would lie down on the benches and fall asleep looking at the morning stars and the moon disappearing.

Some would say I had a terrible childhood. If getting hit repeatedly by sisters of the orphanage every time I ask to go to the bathroom but then being forced to keep it in till I wet myself and become a huge embarrassment in front of everyone, then yes. But I never really cared for it. I never had a normal childhood but I don't consider my current life any more normal than what I had.
