Chapter two
*BRRRIIINGGG*
Lunchtime! Awesome! I am excited for two reasons. 1) I get two see all my older friends, and 2) I could quite possibly see the handsome boy I bumped into at the start of the day.
I make way down the hall and meet up my two friends Sam and Darci; they are both one year older then me as well. We walk to the lunchroom chatting about random stuff, as we emerge into the cafeteria I look around and i feel small. All those movies you watch about clicks and different groups, they are all spot on! I can clearly see the label with every group.
Dead center is the football jocks, the biggest group. The closest table to them are the cheerleaders/ sluts/ bitches, i will make sure to stay away from them I don’t need the drama! The outer tables consist of nerds, loners, and emo freaks. I see a few tables near the front which are where all my older friends are sitting. Sam and Darci start heading to that table and I follow, everyone greets me and I sit between Alicia and Darci. I look around for my sister Cassandra but remember that the grades 12’s were allowed off campus for lunch.

the rest of the day was pretty uneventful and as I was heading to my locker to get my stuff to head home the realization that I never saw that mystery boy again all day sunk in. I wanted to ask Alicia about him but I thought that would be kind of creepy, asking around about him. Oh well I will just have to suck it up until we meet again.
On the bus ride home I sat with Alicia again, she talked my ear off about gossip and teachers and boys. But my focus was still on him and it was kind of depressing for me to be constantly thinking about him, and knowing that somebody like him would never think about somebody like me. But maybe he would think of me. Just this once…
