just this once

chapter six:

i sighed again then headed up to my room. just as i was crossing the hall an arm shot out and yanked me into cass's room. the light flicked on and i could see it was just cass. " what were you doing in the same car as Landon Penn?" she asked in an excited voice. "Umm he gave me a ride home." i said, hoping it was the right answer. "OMG!!! that's so cute. so are you guys like a thing now? do you like him back? because he obviously likes you! i mean he gave you a ride home in his new car! he never gives anyone rides home. you must be pretty special to him." she exclaimed all in one breath. wow she seriously needed to slow down. did she really mean that stuff about he never gives anyone a ride home? NO stop getting your hopes up abby, he was just being nice because he tripped me. "no cass we are not a 'thing' he tripped me in gym class and he felt sorry for me so he gave me a ride home." i stated. " sure........" said Cass, obviously thinking hard about something. "just be careful, Landon is known to be a player. he has never had a serious relationship." she said. "ok whatever." i say, heading back to my room.

In my room i put my headphones in my ears and turn on my ipod. it shows a new playlist, i don't remember making a new playlist. OH MY GOSH Landon must have a made a playlist on my ipod when he was fooling with it. The playlist was entitled 'Watch Where You Walk' oh my god that's so cute in a wierd way! the first time we met i bumped into him and almost fell and the second time he tripped me and i did fall.

i scrolled through the playlist and noticed that all the songs had something in common, they were all my favourites. thats so wierd, Landon didn't pay that much attention to me, he couldn't have done that on purpose.. could he...? NO i need to stop over thinking things. he doesn't like me!

i rolled off my bed and got into the shower to try to clear my mind. After  the shower i walked back into my room and logged onto facebook. I noticed i had a friend request, I opened it up and when i saw the name my whole body froze. It read:

- Landon Penn wishes to become friends with you, ACCEPT or DENY.

i didn't know what to do!  should I deny it? but if i did deny it what if he asks me about it at school ? but if i accept it he might start talking to me and ask me about why i didn't want to kiss him!  WOAH why am i overthinking this, it's just a simple friend request. I got like 10 of them everyday. but this was different, way different. i closed my eyes and pressed...
