With teary eyes and at the same time with a wide smile, New nodded. Then he hurriedly runs towards him and gave him a warm tight hug. "You came..." he said again with a soft voice while crying.
"Of course... it's your birthday!"
"I thought-" As Tay spoke, New loosen his husband's hug to give him a forehead kiss.
"Ssshhh... Forget about your, "I thought and what ifs" I am here now and I won't leave you." Tay couldn't stop himself from hugging his husband again. So he pulled him again.
"I love you..."
"I love you even more..." Then New hugged him back more tightly.
"So let's eat? I'm hungry. Haha." New said in a cute way to change the mood.
TAY'S POV:
He came. He's late but at least he came. We're now having our dinner. My husband's sitting in front of me and quietly eating his food. I don't know what happened, why he's late and why his eyes were swollen as if he had just cried but what's important right now is that he's with me. He chose me. He chose to be with me. And from now on, I'll make sure that he made the right decision and never regret it.
NEW'S POV:
We're now having our dinner. It was supposed to be an early dinner but I didn't make it on time. He didn't ask me anything but I know he knew why, and he knew also that I cried. He was quietly eating in front of me right now and I can see through his eyes that he was so happy. So I think I made the right decision or should I say, I chose the right decision and I'm pretty sure that I will not regret it.
FLASHBACK OF NEW AND GUN CONVERSATION
"Why do you need to go here?! You said, you just want to see him for the last time, then why?! Why New...why!!! Why do you have to see him for the last time?! For what?!!"
"Maybe because there is still something here?!" Then New pointed to his heart and his tears started to flow. At the same time, Gun became speechless and continued to cry after knowing the truth.
"So you're running away with him?!" said Gun with a soft voice, he stopped talking, wiped his tears, and nodded as he look at New. "Okay! But please make sure to give him the love that he deserves." He added.
"Please do take good care of him..." Gun got stunned by what New said to him. He stared at New's eyes and he frowned wondering why he was saying that. Then suddenly New spoke-
"My husband's waiting for me!" and he begins to walk faster to leave.
