CHAPTER 14☀️🌙

JUMPOL'S POV:

I am here in the garden for fresh air when suddenly I heard the voice I'd been wanting to hear for the past few days.

I miss this voice.

I miss the owner of this voice.

With tears in my eyes, I turned around, and finally, I am now seeing the love of my life, the only love of my life in front of me. I didn't hesitate at all, I run toward him and gave him a tight hug even if I still have a cast on my other hand.

It was so warm...

I've been longing for this...

And finally. Finally, he's here...

NEW'S POV:

"Hmmm..." he hummed after I whispered his name and did not let me go from his embrace.

"Jum..." I said again and still, he didn't say anything but instead, I could feel all his five fingers gently pressed into my head while his other hand which has a cast, tighten the hug. I took a deep sigh and loosen his hug. I stared at his teary eyes. We were both staring at each other for a while, until....

"Are you choosing me now?" he asked. I stared at him and shook my head by then his tears began to flow.

"Why do you keep on choosing him over me?" he asked again while sobbing.

"He's my husband,"

"But I'm the one you love!"

"But still... he is my husband."

"Then why are you here?"

I was stunned for a moment and began to question myself. He's right. Why am I here? Why did all of a sudden I run after knowing what happened to him? Do I still care about him?

"Does it mean that you still care about me?"

I looked at him while my eyes were on the verge of tears. "What? Am I right? You still care about me?" I nodded as an answer then he smiled at me and hug me again. "I do care because you're my friend." After hearing what I said, he loosen his hug and stared at me. "Your friend? He chuckled. "Just a friend?"

"Are you kidding me Poom?!" I shook my head.

"So you're serious?! Tsk!" he sighed then kicked the vase near us and started to cry.

"Do you think we can be friends?! Shit! Thitipoom is this re-"

GUN'S POV:

"Papii..."

He was about to kick another vase when I quickly called him so he might not hurt himself again. New was just listening to Off who was crying while saying something to him. I know at this point that New was stunned by Off's actions but I know also that he understands his situation.

"Stop hurting yourself, Papii. Your foot isn't that good already," He gave Off a chair for him to rest. Then he looks at New who's wiping his tears before approaching Off.

"Jum..."

New kneels and looks at Off's eyes. "Gun's right. Please stop hurting yourself." Off look at him with a serious face then his tears started to flow again. "It's so painful, Poom. What am I gonna do? It hurts... it's killing me here!" then he rubbed his chest while sobbing. New wasn't able to speak again, instead, he hug Off. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for causing you pain, Jum." Then he tightens the hug. "One day... one day the two of us will move on for real."
