Running as fast but not so fast....for her life, dodge a bullet or two and hopefully lose them before she got to the station.

"Pfft. Nice one Rin you missed!~"

"Ughh shut up bro!"

Regretting parking the car far from them they have no choice but run a bit to get there.

"This is so fun~ reminds me back in the days~♡"

"Stop reminiscing just get in the car before she gets away"

Starting the engine and at full speed they try close the gap between them and the girl. Haitani Ran who was a bit closer to Val knows what she looks like but didn't get the chance to shoot her while his brother tried but missed.

Frustrated Rindou can't help but reveal one of the things he does in his day offs.

"Is she a slowed version of the flash or somethin'?"

"You watch that?~"

"Just shoot!"

"Tch! Should I just go at my full speed? I can at least lose them and be on time"

Valerie removed her gloves.

'I'll lose them from the alley'

At full speed she turned right and right again then got to the alley where the can't chase her by car. Lift her right arm and a mini grappling hook shot up to the wall near.

Climbing the wall a bit and hid on the rooftop.

'Awww man I still got it!!'

"Huh?! Where this she go?!!"

"Dunno. Maybe she's spiderman too and climbed the wall~"

"Whatever! let Kakucho or Sanzu handle this there's still one more on the list we need to find"

Making sure they're really away she took a peak. None..it's clear.

Jumping through some roofs for assurance and to get to the train station, Thankfully Valerie got on time and run like she's late for work to get inside the train.

Tired she slumped on the seat while breathing heavily.

'Luckily it's day off for me since it's weekends'

15 minutes....was all it takes to snooze.

Valerie fell asleep and her head nodding, a stranger walk up and sat beside her. The train was a bit empty since it's last ride home.

The said stranger had a red scarf on his neck while wearing black long sleeves and green bonnet.

Mikey was supposed to say sorry to Valerie but that can wait till morning coz she doesn't look like waking up anytime soon. So when it's her station he carried her and got on a taxi.

He kept her close making sure she's comfortable. No one would recognize him on his disguise just add a square shaped glasses.

It wasn't hard to get her home since Mikey was quite familiar with the place even though they renovated some parts of it. Carring Val on his back reminded him of Emma.

"What a useless thought"

Getting her keys he opened the gate then tucked her on the bed......comfortably. Sitting beside the bed he stared at her.

He caressed her cheek and his hand stayed there.

"She's warm."

He got his phone this time.

*ringing*

"Mikey"

"Kakucho tell the others don't wait for me."

"Okay. But where are you?"

"I'm at my home"

Mikey didn't say anything more ended the call and got on bed beside Valerie. This time he hugged her back and his arm is on Val's waist. He enjoyed the silence.

The peaceful silence.

He smelled Val's hair and then her neck

"You give me peace Valerie"

"My Val...my beautiful and lovely Val♡~"

So yeahhhh...it's kind of short I wrote this on my study break.
